What do you tell a stranger about yourself?
Of course, if your mother had any sense, she told you not even to talk to strangers. And while I'm sure much of your mother's advice is sage, I'm ignoring her in this regard.
But if you're reading this somewhere out there on the world wide interweb, you're likely not only a stranger, but a stalker. I mean, what else would you call the unknown who quietly, and anonymously, gather information about you without your knowledge? (Your mother would probably advise a restraining order.)
And then there is the matter of what you, as a stranger, will even believe. The internet is filled with the dirtiest of liars. As such, you're just going to have to trust me.
So this is what I can tell you:
If I am who I am innately: I am reserved, intelligent, witty, charming, logical, pensive, analytical, easy-going, principled, hedonistic, athletic, and devastatingly handsome.
If I am who I am by what I've done: I spent a summer traveling Europe alone by train. I was a mechanical engineering student at Purdue U. I owned one of the largest body jewelry manufacturers in the US. I've played soccer most of my life.
If I am who I am by what I'm doing: I'm collecting myself. I'm reflecting. I'm training BJJ everyday. I'm working on a new project.
So there it is. Stalk if you must, but the bushes outside my window are crowded as it is.
