I'm a sister, friend, tomboy, advocate and problem solver. Half of my life is fast and furious, whether at work or during a swim, bike or run, but the other part is silly, relaxed, and just having a good time being out there. I enjoy both of these approaches to life. And I'm looking to share it with someone who gets that and is willing to explore some equally fast, fun and relaxed times together.

I'm originally from the east coast and moved to San Francisco over 15 years ago. I'm close to my family back east and love traveling there for work and fun. But, San Francisco is my home.

I am fortunate to have a great job helping organizations solve tricky real estate problems and to volunteer with a wonderful affordable housing development organization in San Francisco. I balance the number crunching, furrowed brow part of my work life with anything that gets my heart pumping. That could be swimming at Aquatic Park, making a perfect latte, qualifying for Boston, trying a new bourbon or finally getting back on a ski slope.

Staying up late...especially when I shouldn't. Cooking. Problem solving. Making my friends laugh. Talking those same friends into things we really have no business doing. Strolling at my lovely neighborhood farmer's market. Taking a dare. Swimming anywhere. Opening a nice bottle.

My wicked sense of humor....on a good day, the humor trumps the wicked.

Just read The Art of Fielding and loved it. I don't watch much TV, but am amused by Big Bang Theory and, true confessions, have a small crush on Leonard. Music tastes are diverse -- Q-Tip, Nina Simone, Jurassic 5, Lura, anything from Havana. I love to cook, especially for my friends and family.

My family and great friends. Good coffee. Something interesting to read. Options. My running shoes.

My next adventure...large or small, close or far.

On a perfect Friday night, I am running trails in Golden Gate Park so that a good hard week can float away and I can recharge for the weekend.

I'd love to get a belly ring some day soon.
