I'm an INTP who loves to explore cities on foot and bicycles. An enthusiastic afficionado of good food and activities without any of the pretension.
What I’m doing with my life
Foreign researcher at Todai for a year, working on why Japanese products became to be so appealing in international markets after the war. Given my love for Mad Men, the best part of my research are the old advertising campaigns.
I’m really good at
Planning trips and events—which goes perfectly with my love of food and travel.
I'm also excellent at humor and wordplay. I'm an enthusiastic photographer hoping to become a decent one.
The first things people usually notice about me
My glasses. Or my radio voice. Or my socks. Or the pompadour.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Count of Monte Cristo, Calvin & Hobbes
Shows: Mad Men, Top Gear, 30 Rock, Curb
Music: 80s, 60s British Invasion, Coltrane, Rachmaninov
Food: Döner Kebab, えびサンド, Falafel
The six things I could never do without
Quiet and space
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the best way to get from A to B, how to snag the best deals online
On a typical Friday night I am
trying whatever restaurant or recipe I or my friends have decided upon, and critiquing it
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've declared myself a quarter Jewish because: 1) I'm from New York; 2) three Jewish mothers have tried to adopt me; 3) I make...very good latkes and falafel
You should message me if
you're kind, quietly confident, empathetic, and can engage in charming conversation in the kitchen, on a bike, or in bed
