My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Well, I'm a laid back kind of guy who can have as much fun camping as I do cuddled up on the couch watching a movie. I like reading, but I never seem to fit in as much time for it as I did when I was back in high school. I don't tend to watch much TV these days, but sports (especially hockey) can draw me in, as can shows related to science and history. I'm an unabashed geek who enjoys tabletop wargaming as well as pen and paper RPGs (see below for the list). Then comes the normal gaming, I'm more of a PC gamer these days than I used to be, but that doesn't mean I wasn't sad to leave my PS3 in Canada.

Beyond that I'm the sort of person who likes to take things slow in a relaxed atmosphere. The kind who knows that value of a good meal and great conversation. I'm not the beer type, but if you like to have a sip now and again I'll gladly crack a cider and toast to something random.

I guess that should be enough to get you started, but if you have a burning need to know more I'm just a message away.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently the assistant manager at the Dollar Tree in West Kelowna. The pay is low, the commute sucks, but I like my coworkers and the job isn't too hard most days. Plus I'm getting that management experience and that's not bad either.

Beyond that I'm trying to sort out a few debts and work out what to do after this current job has run its course.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Thinking through problems and coming up with answers. True story, I once invented the drum brake and was super proud until I realized that it had been around forever... I like knowing things and the best way to do that is thinking them through and looking at all the angles. I can fall into random subjects and spend hours looking into them.

I also like to be the guy people can come to with problems. People are always surprised when I guy that might normal talk your ear off settles down and really listens.

I can cook from a recipe and have it turn out the way it should. I can help with loads of basic computer issues. I'm not overly handy but I know my way around basic tools. I'm the kind of guy who reads directions before doing things.

Either my awesome beard or that I can usually hold a decent conversation. Though I guess it changes from person to person. I have some pics up so what do you see?

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Internet
Work (Or something else to fill my free time)
New things to see and learn
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Whatever I'm into at the moment. I tend to zero in on things, research the hell out of them and then move on. Right now it's finding work and making this profile better, in a few minutes it could be trying to figure out what type of Goanna wandered through our camp this past weekend.

Beyond that I think about the usual stresses of life. Money vs. bills, can I afford to take another run at post secondary, why am I still living with a roommate at 26. I try to keep my mind more upbeat than all that though and usually I'm succeeding more than failing!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hang out at home chilling, maybe out chucking dice with friends, or possibly out at a movie. Depends on cash flow and what other people are doing. I'm not the type to fly solo, but if I can make plans with the right people I'd rather be out than in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It's more common than you might think but I don't really want it out in public here. Feel free to ask and I'll talk about it in private, I'm not shy.
