I have a good (albeit quite strange at times) sense of humor, and I hardly take myself seriously. I don't have a ton of friends, but I do have at least four really good, close friends, which I feel quite lucky to have. Outside of that, I have a larger group of friends, but they aren't as close as those four.
I like reading, writing, playing video games, watching TV and movies, playing some casual sports with friends (basketball, baseball, football, that kind of stuff), walking, drawing (kind of), and I do enjoy some drinks every so often. Occasionally, if I can get my hands on one, I will smoke a cigar, but that is very seldom. I don't touch cigarettes or any sort of drug.
I would consider myself a bit of a nerd. I LOOOOOVE MST3K (I think it basically goes without saying that enjoying the show lends some nerd cred). In fact I own three MST3K catchphrase T-shirts. I enjoy Monty Python's Flying Circus and their three movies. I can't recite Holy Grail by heart though.
After having lived on my own for a little over 2 years, I am back living with my parents. It was more of a situation that I had no control over, and my only choice was moving back in with my folks. But I should be out on my own again by Feb./March 2010. I do have a full time job that pays decently. I like and get along with just about all my coworkers (a few are good friends). I am a very easy person to get along with. Oh yeah, I am 22.
I am not really an adventurous person. Bars and clubs and that kind of stuff really aren't my thing. I still go out to bars sometimes, but I think clubs would be out of the question (I feel I am just too awkward there). I am quite a shy person. Once I get to know you, I will start talking (or if I'm drunk). I am just looking for someone to have fun with and spend time with. I really enjoy the feeling I get from making people happy and caring for people. I enjoy the reverse feeling too (being made happy and felt cared-for, that is). I feel like I have a lot to offer. I find myself now about five months removed from an almost eleven month relationship. I learned a lot from it that I can use going forward.
Also, a word on my religious and political views. I am an atheist, so if that would be a problem, I would look elsewhere. As far as politics, I subscribe to a few conservative views and a few liberal ones. Also some middle-of-the-road. I would say independent.
