Well I'm a somewhat shy person at first but don't let that fool you. I've got a sense of humor based on odd delivery styles. And I'm known to treat machines like people (so they don't kill me when the revolution comes). I'm an anime fan and I occasionally go full-geek about it. I can get riled up about politics (I lean left) but I definitely believe that both sides are doing it wrong.
I've got a rational, science-y mind and I guess my ideal match would have to understand that somewhat but I really admire people with more creative, arts-y minds.
Speaking of ideal matches, I'm one of those people who believes in the idea of soul mates, sort of. Numerically speaking, there should be at least one person out there somewhere who is perfect for you. Unfortunately, you might not ever meet them. That's sort of a downer, I know. Press on, dear reader! All hope is not lost!
I often hear people say everything happens for a reason, but that's not quite right. You have to find your reason however you can, or else you won't have one. It is up to us to make the reason, to use the crap that happens to us to get stronger and smarter and better prepared for the next round. If you don't put in the effort to find the reason then there won't be a reason. In my opinion, our purpose is not predefined before we're born, but is our own creation. Part of my purpose, according to me, is to find a woman to share my life with, one who brings out the best in me as I bring out the best in her.
If you noticed that my religion thing on the right has changed between agnosticism and Christianity several times, that's not because my beliefs have changed but rather that mainstream Christians are pissing me off with their homophobia and I really don't like being lumped together with them. I follow Christ's example and try to be loving to all of His creatures. Love God with all your heart and love your neighbor as you do yourself.
