My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
If you spend time with me, you will laugh. It might be with me, it could be AT me, but I assure you, you will laugh.

Born in New Jersey and raised (mostly) in the San Francisco East Bay Area, I've been around LA for most of my adult life (save for 3 years back East for law school), and I do love life here.

My name is not Joe. How's that for a misleading username?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
In terms of work, I'm an entertainment attorney/executive. I negotiate television deals and draft employment agreements for writers and actors and other artists/companies with various talents and interests, which I enjoy.

I'm also learning to surf, making time to travel more, and putting together a bucket list (though I have no plans of kicking that bucket anytime soon).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making sarcastic comments at inopportune moments. And pub trivia (though I haven't played in a while, so I'm probably off my game).

I can usually make people feel at ease, and I'm often told that I can articulate my feelings better than most guys can.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told I have warm and friendly "amber" eyes. That said, if I haven't gotten a haircut in a while, it's hard not to notice my Italian 'fro (see photo).

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My family.
2. My friends.
3. My BlackBerry (though I sometimes dream of drowning it). [Update: I recently switched over to an iPhone, and while the transition period was challenging, I am now hooked.]
4. My Tempur-Pedic bed (yes, it's that amazing).
5. My television (so bright and beautiful!).
6. My peace of mind.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The future. I'm very much a proactive "planner," so it's hard for me not to think about the future. I don't worry about it, though, I just envision it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Dinner, a movie, drinks with friends, and occasionally a more exciting night out on the town (I tend to save those for Saturday).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Okay, here goes... I like Rick Springfield ("Jessie's Girl") more than any straight man should ever admit to women on a dating website.
