I have a crappy memory, am terrible with names, and tend to lose things after I was just holding them. I can't stress how annoying this is when I'm running late for work, and my keys suddenly become missing right as I'm walking out the door!
Speaking of school, I dropped out of engineering, and taught myself enough information to land a job doing technical support in IT. I have been able to scrape out a comfortable living for myself, but unfortunately my social life has really suffered due to unconventional schedules. On the plus side I have become very independent, and very comfortable with myself.
I love grammar, and although common misuses of homophones annoy me just as much as anyone else, what really drives me crazy is the overuse of ellipses. I even took a summer course in grade school diagramming sentences.
I used to be a great speller, but computers have fixed that problem. The prevalence of spell checkers and their wonderful red squiggly lines have allowed me to get sloppy. To think I was a school spelling bee winner two years in a row! I never won anything cool like a scholarship or anything though. I can't imagine being so bored I'd read a dictionary now, not to mention trying to study it when I was in 6th grade!
I am a large fan of video games, and have been since my brother and I saved up our allowance for months to buy an original NES soon after it came out. However, more recently I've become kind of burnt out on them.
