My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a native Californian and moved to the area last year. Looking for an easy-going drama-free lady to explore what Utah has to offer. I have only skied once in my life and it was in Pennsylvania (not the best snow on earth). I would love to learn but you will have to be patient with me.

I am also looking forward to the warmer months to do some mountain biking and hiking. Timpanogos looks like a cool mountain to hang out on.

I do have a son who also happens to be super cool. He is a huge part of my life and the reason why I moved to SLC. So, you would have to be cool with kids too.

I have a great job, own my car and home and am looking for someone who has their act together. Just like many here, I am more looking for a person I can have a meaningful and lasting relationship with.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I am the #2 guy at a small internet based start-up. Things are super busy but it is great to watch it grow so fast. I really do not miss the grind of working at one of the biggest financial firms. I have more creative freedom and a better work/life balance.

On a more metaphysical level, I recently changed my entire worldview from something confining and narrow to a view that lets me explore whatever I want. It was difficult as first as the change was not necessarily sought after, but it has become awesome to explore the world through a different set of eyes that is no longer confined by irrational and bigoted dogmas.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Having a full head of hair. I won't give away all my secrets on how I do it, but it involves willpower and a LOT of Tabasco sauce.

I really don't mean to brag, but I am also pretty amazing at standing in a line (or as the British would say, queuing). I would be willing to teach others if they are interested
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My beard is very red but my hair is boring brown. They used to be the same color, but that was before the accident
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I am a huge fan of books that have interesting plots and great character development. Harry Potter for example has an interesting plot, but I really don't know anything about Harry himself. Where is the emotion? What is his motivations? Why did he never crack, anyone under that kind of pressure would have cracked at least once. I have read the Game of Thrones books twice now and love the exploration of good v. evil and how no one in the real world really fits into either category (this is a sharp contrast to a certain book I used to think was SUPER important).

This exploration of the human condition is also what I love to see in movies. Movies are more than entertainment to me, I want to watch movies that mean something and have something to say. But of course I also love movies that are just plain fun like the recent movie Pacific Rim. The acting is just okay and the dialogue is predictable but it is about giant robots fighting giant monsters, so it is basically awesome.

Just as with movies, the same thing applies to TV shows. But in general I really enjoy the more recent well made shows like Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Sherlock, Homeland, and Walking Dead (but not the 2nd season). Not Mad Men though, it never really drew me in, maybe I just don't understand it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Socks - Never leave home without them
Imagination - I could live forever in my mind
Water - how else would I brush my teeth?
Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle - pretty self-explanatory
Haribo gummy bears - Throw them in the freezer for extra deliciousness
The unknown - life would get boring if everything was known
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything. For some reason that answer is 42
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I love to go out and try new things. Eating at interesting restaurants/bars or even the occasional dance club can make a super fun night. But most Fridays include trying a new drink. I am kinda new to that scene and I have lots to learn
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
On the outside I may appear like an emotionless sarcastic piece of shit but just like an onion when you peel off more layers you find the exact same thing every single time and you start crying
;)

If you are an awesome lady, I think you should say hi, especially if all my unnecessary commas throughout this profile did not make you rage. It is also super hot when a girl initiates contact. It means that she knows what she wants and is willing to do something about it.
