My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find beauty in places that other people would find unremarkable. I can be a little obsessive about things. I build friendships over weeks and months, not minutes or hours. I'm honest and reserved.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working part-time from home, really looking for the next step in my life and career.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
From time to time, I get riled up and go on one of my rare but fun rants. The few people who have been on the receiving end are generally suitably impressed, but they are few and far between.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Why are you so tall"?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Although there are plenty of exceptions, like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, in general I'm not into fantasy genres in media- I like characters and settings that I can more easily relate to.

I devour books in rare bursts- my eternal favourite is Catch-22 which for me is just a perfect mixture of absurdity, horror and commentary.

I'm not a film buff, I don't really have any particular favourite, but if it's a good story and well executed, I'll probably enjoy it regardless of genre.

There's lots of TV shows that I just haven't ever tried to get into, like Game of Thrones- I'm sure it's great and all, but I don't really need to start watching it. I have recently enjoyed Sherlock and Parks & Rec, and I love Futurama.

I like food that is hearty and substantial- I like to take on something with spice. If I have a choice of where to go to lunch, I will probably go to a Korean restaurant, and I will probably order Kimchi Jigae.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Two sturdy walking shoes- they've carried me a long way.
The ability to retreat into my own space and wallow in happiness.
Awareness of my insignificance to the wider world
Being significant to somebody
A tempered sense of adventure
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
ridiculous hypothetical scenarios where I have incredible abilities, going back in time (obviously taking over my previous body so as to avoid time travel paradoxes,) or how my smallest choices might end up leading, butterfly effect, to a world of peace, happiness and slightly cheaper kit-kats.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. From home. My current job is a bit difficult for social life because it involves working between 6pm and midnight, 5-6 nights a week. Saturday is better- but I do tend to make plans for it well ahead of time!

More generally, I expect I'm most likely to get on with somebody who is perhaps slightly on the introverted side, but also has a strong and independent personality.
