My Notes edit
My self-summary
y friends typically don't take very many things seriously, and are willing to laugh at pretty much anything. This is pretty much necessary for being my friend, as I can look at Cyanide and Happiness' Depressing Comic Week 2 and appreciate the hilarity of it. Pretty much everyone I hang out with follows and enjoys xkcd, in part because most of the people I hang out with are friends I made through the forums there. Yes, I make friends on the Internet - some people find that odd, which it may be; however, some find it taboo or unacceptable, and if you do, then you are a hypocrite, since you're presumably trying to do just that right now. ;)
As for relationships - silliness is very important. Sarcasm is a requirement. Sharing laughter is utterly key. Cyanide and Happiness and xkcd are great outlines of my sense of humor, so if you love them too, that lines up pretty well. Also sex. Delicious sex. Often combined with laughter.
What I'm doing with my life
I just recently started playing Magic: The Gathering again, and dredged up my years-old collection of cards. I am looking for new people to play with, since the friend who got me back into it is a jerk and decided that now he likes Pokemon cards better.
I am also concentrating on advancing my career a little bit at the moment, and edging closer to something I actually want to do. For the most part, I am just enjoying myself and my friends.
I'm really good at
Also, I can spell pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis out loud in about six seconds.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Movies: Wayne's World, Shrek, Zoolander, Dodgeball, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Superbad, Anchorman, Star Wars (three of them; guess which), Goldeneye, Grindhouse
TV Shows: South Park, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Drawn Together, Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, Perfect Hair Forever, Metalocalypse, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Invader Zim, Home Movies, The Oblongs, The Simpsons, Firefly, 24, Six Feet Under, Scrubs, Kids in the Hall, Whitest Kids U'Know, Saturday Night Live during the Norm MacDonald on Weekend Update years.
Music: Rush, Ozzy, Black Sabbath Green Day, Bush, Garbage, Weird Al, Journey, They Might Be Giants, Barenaked Ladies, OC Remixes, video game music in general, and anything that's from the 80's or sounds like it.
Foods: Buffalo chicken. Mm mm.
The six things I could never do without
1. Inappropriate humor - If something's potentially offensive, I'll probably end up joking about it. It's still possible to offend me, but it has to be clear that you actually mean it when you say something like "The Holocaust never happened."
2. Video games - I <3 my Wii and my DS and sometimes my PS2. They are fun to play. Plus, some of the best jokes are video game jokes. Also my cat is named Samus.
3. Friends - otherwise I would have ONLY video games to keep me busy. And I love 'em, but too much does tend to make me go stir crazy. Besides, without real game, all of my board games become immediately useless.
4. KITTIES! - I will seriously melt into a puddle in the presence of adorable cats. They are my kryptonite. And I don't even mind, because they're damn cute.
5. teh intarwebs - otherwise I'd have to talk to my friends on the PHONE. I'd really rather not think about how much those minutes would cost.
6. Sex - did I not go over this one in ye olde selfe-summarie?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here
That's not really private, since I don't hide any of it and it's the motif on my wallet and debit card. But there you have it.
You should message me if
If you want to play board games (from Risk to Scrabble to Settlers and beyond), video games, or Magic.
Or if you feel like chatting or hanging out at all, romantically or not - I like meeting new people. Well, COOL new people. So make sure you're cool.
