I moved to Chicago right after graduating from the University of Georgia in 2011. I temped for a while before landing a steady day job with Kaplan University (You know the test prep company? They also have a lot of online degrees they offer). I'm trading my soul to a corporation, but I'm addicted to eating and living indoors, so there's not much I can do about that.

Art and theatre are very important to me. I enjoy going to the symphony more than anyone else I know, and in addition to performing I love seeing live shows of all kinds.

I'm relentlessly optimistic but also cynical and sarcastic. I'm not quite sure how it's possible, but I make it happen.

I want to laugh and make other people laugh, a sense of humor is one of the most important things to me.

Right now I'm working in the Registrar at Kaplan University, but that's just to pay the bills. Underneath it all I am and will always be an actor and improviser.

I'm between projects at the moment, which means I can actually sleep AND have a social life.

Acting (it's subjective, of course), improvisation, making friends laugh, relaxing, being friendly, dreaming, listing things I'm good at, meta-humor!

I've only seen a few episodes of Doctor Who, but the last 10 minutes of "Vincent and the Doctor" was incredibly beautiful.

Movies: Can't go wrong, except with horror.

Food: Sushi is the single most perfect food.

If I'm not performing in a play or improv set, I'm going out with friends or having a quiet night in with Netflix.

I was the only person in my graduating class in high school. (No I wasn't home-schooled, it was just a very small school and a lot of people had dropped that year)
