My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love science, technology, and discovering how things work. I'm a graduate student at NMT studying computer science and electrical engineering. I hope to eventually focus my studies on swarm intelligence. My hobbies include gaming, reading, and coding.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'll be attending graduate school at NMT in the Fall where I'll study computer science and electrical engineering. In the meantime, I write, edit, and debug code at a local bank.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I know how to math, to an extent.
I know my way around a computer. Anything that I don't know, I can pick up on pretty quickly.
Aside from that, I can become good at anything that happens to pique my interest.
The first things people usually notice about me

I really can't say.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I don't really have any favorite books. I generally don't read novels. I prefer to read technical books related to programming or electronics.

I love comedy movies and shows. Dumb and Dumber, Monty Python, Beavis and Butthead, the Colbert Report, Futurama, and The Office are all very good. Action and horror is good, but if I want my fix of either of those things, I'll play a videogame. I like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, and I'll watch the occasional episode of Dr. Who.

I listen to a little bit of almost everything. I don't much care for country, except for Johnny Cash. I like electronic, trance, ambient, and rock, mainly. Breaking Benjamin, Rage Against the Machine, Akira Yamaoka, Amon Tobin, the Glitch Mob, and Skrillex are some of the artists that I can name off the top of my head.

I love games. Shooters, strategy, and survival horror are my favorite. Halo, Payday, Left 4 Dead, Half-Life, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, the Suffering, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, Turok, Metal Slug, and just about anything with "Tom Clancy's" on the front, to name only a few.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The Internets
My dog, Zippy, who I love more than most people.
My family
A sense of purpose
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I think about where the future will take me.

I think about how far technology has advanced and will continue to advance. I think about humanity and its future as a species.

I think about our place in the universe and what might exist beyond our solar system. Will humanity ever advance to the point where it can escape the confines of its solar system? What lies out there, beyond the stars? Our solar system is but one of billions of star systems in the Milky Way. The Milky Way, in turn, is but one of billions of galaxies scattered about in the observable universe. Think about that for a moment. Let it sink in. Think about how comparatively small our solar system is in the grand scheme of things. Think about what might lie beyond our relatively insignificant corner of the universe. If this does does not leave you in awe, then you have no soul.

I hope that there will come a time when the human race will cease its infighting, and unite to commit its efforts to the cause of science and discovery, but I'm not holding my breath.

There's still so much about our world that we don't know about, still so much left to be discovered, so many questions left unanswered. And there are times when it pains me that I will not live to see such discoveries made and such questions answered.

Yeah, my mind tends to wander a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home, playing computer games, listening to music, reading, and doing just about anything that doesn't involve interacting with humans.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Um... no.
