My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Do people actually read through everything on here??? I'm pretty sure that guys don't read much of it, but I'm hoping girls do, because you might actually find out something important you might like about someone, instead of just looking to see if they're over 6 feet tall!

What I'VE learned after reading through dozens of girls profiles, is that girls reeeeaaaallly want a "partner in crime"! I've read it over and over again, and I just was astounded by how many woman want to be CRIMINALS!!!! Not only that, but they also lack the self-confidence of going into business on their own! It's not enough that you're lacking the morals to lead an honest life, but you want to drag a poor guy into your seedy, shady lifestyle!!!! The shame of it!!! :)

But how do I let you know who I really am??? Well I guess, to make along story short, tall, dark, and handsome pretty much says it all! I mean, not for me, specifically, but it would be nice, wouldn't it? I've heard that tall dudes have it easy. In reality, I'm of average height, not terribly ugly, and well, the "dark" part is true: I do tan up real nice.

But the intangibles....oh boy, I'm loaded up with those:) Intelligent? Check! Funny? Check! Kind? Check! Sarcastic? Double check! Oh, and did I mention that humility is also one of my many, many fine attributes! :p

Though I've been pretty goal oriented career wise [I'm currently a surgeon at Harborview], I'm a pretty laid back guy who gets along with creatures of all walks of life. I love it when people around me are laughing, and do my best to make that happen. So sarcasm and wit are big turn-ons.

I grew up in NYC and I've been a city boy my whole life and moving to Seattle was a bit of an adjustment, but I've grown to love it here. I've even been camping, kayaked the San Juans, and summited Rainier!

I've been an athlete my whole life [soccer, basketball, and swimming are my sports] and do my best to stay in shape, but I'd have to stay that my biggest hobby is traveling. I get out of the country at least a couple times a year, and have been lucky enough to take a couple long term trips and hit a few dozen countries. I've hit 5 of 7 continents so far and am super excited to hit Africa next. Antarctica will have to be last. Sorry penguins! Most recently went scuba diving in the Galapagos Islands and then New Zealand. Traveling and seeing different cultures will be a passion probably till I'm old and decrepid:)

A bit about my match...I'm not going to belabor looks. Obviously, everything else being equal, we all want to date supermodels, but unless you're Tom Brady, or the nerdy guy who came up with Facebook, that's not going to happen. Let's just say that she should be at least relatively nice too look at:) But, I will admit to one hypocritical superficiality: I am partial to TALL girls. I mean even 5 or 6 inches taller than me doesn't phase me. I know, I know, where does a 5 foot 10 guy come off talking like that, and honestly, I don't know, but I like what I like, so I'm not going to make excuses. Maybe its my inner Darwin trying to "tall up" my gene pool:) And to all the tall girls out there: I love it when you wear heels and get even taller, so don't think if you date a shorter guy, you have to give up that up! So give us six foot and under blokes a chance! After all, it takes confidence to date a taller woman, and EVERYBODY says girls like confidence! So prove it:)

Ok, moving past the superficial stuff:)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Taking care of patients. LOVE my career and can't see myself doing anything else. One downside is that, for the most part, I can't take off 3 months to travel every year, which is what I would do. I last did that 2 years ago and traveled South America. Still can take a couple weeks off at a time and I think Africa is next on my agenda. The only continent I've missed so far, Antarctica excluded.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh...and cutting people's faces (in a totally legal way!)...so you better laugh at my jokes!!!

Books: anything written by Christopher Hitchens or Richard Dawkins, and now Sam Harris. I love reading non-fiction, though a lot of that ends up being medically oriented
Movies: Swingers, Meet the Parents, Pulp Fiction, Zoolander, Top Gun (you can be my wingman anytime!:), Old School, Forty year old Virgin, the Departed, Goodfellas, Fight Club, the Bourne series and Love Actually, yes, I said it. I'm kind of a sucker for the Hugh Grant movies, a little embarrassing...
Shows: 30 Rock, Modern Family, game of thrones, Boardwalk Empire, New Girl (Schmitt's hilarious) Californication, and Homeland. And of course Daily Show and Colbert Report. Omg and most recently the Wire...I know I'm behind the times, but it's ridiculously good!
