Well, hello.
I'm 27 and live in London. I like all kinds of things such as the ever generic 'going out', music - especially going to gigs, going to the cinema and just generally hanging out and having a laugh. I'm just as happy to have a mate over for a meal as to go out all night, cooking is a favourite thing to do of mine!

I also like eating out - anything from Italian to Indian or Japanese.

I read alot of urban horror/fantasy/sci-fi though am just as happy to read regular fiction or more educational stuff when the interest takes me. Two of my favourite authors are Jim Butcher and Kim Harrison. The last book I read was I Am Legend which only emphasised how much of a travesty the film was! No offence to any fans out there. ;-)

I also really like to play computer games and have a few consoles; a PS2 and a Xbox 360 which gets most of my play time. I also own a DS Lite and a PSP but I tend not to use those as much. My favourite kind of games are RPGs, strategy (preferably turn-based or city building types) and First Person Shooters.

Oh and about me as a person on a personality level I'm extremely laid-back and easy going, non-judgemental and just like to have a laugh but obviously can take things seriously if needed. Apparently I'm a good listener. I have a rather sarcastic sense of humour but I tend not to really hit people with it until they know me better!

Working. Going out, spending time with my Important People such as friends and family or my flatmate (who is also my best friend). Spending quality time on my own too.

I have no idea...it's not something people usually tell you. Probably my shortness or my eyes. Or possibly my bizarre sense of humour if they're lucky!

God these lists could go on forever, despite the fact that I'll still somehow manage to forget half of them right now.

Books: as I said above I like urban fantasy/horror alot, though more traditional fantasy and horror is good too. I also like Sci-fi, cyberpunk and regular fiction. I love Neuromancer by William Gibson, Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson and Vurt by Jeff Noon. Anything by Kim Harrison or Jim Butcher. Karen Chance is also good. All of Euripides' Tragedies (though I'm not claiming to have read them all). His version of The Medea was the first Greek Tragedy I ever read and it blew my mind at the tender age of 17. I also really like the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris (what TrueBlood is based on).

In addition to books I also love reading graphic novels and comics. Some of my favourites are Y: The Last Man, Runaways, The Astonishing X-men, Nyx: No Way Home and Death: The High Cost of Living and Preacher. I am always up for hearing about great new comics as I've barely scratched the surface of all the good ones out there.

In terms of TV: I don't watch alot generally but programmes I have and do enjoy are as follows: TrueBlood, Buffy, Angel, The Dollhouse, Flashforward, Family Guy, Dead Like Me, Chuck and Frisky Dingo.

Movies: I like lots of random stuff, in terms of genre - sci-fi, fantasy, horror, j-horror, drama. Some actual films I like are: Dogville (I adored the ending), Azumi, The Hudsucker Proxy, The Big Lebowski, Welcome to Collinwood, Monty Python:The Holy Grail, Bladerunner, Amelie, Delicatessen, The Secretary, Gattaca, any/all of The Evil Dead films and the Fifth Element. There will be more but I couldn't realistically make a totally comprehensive list here.

In terms of Anime (which I class separately for convenience) some of my favourites are: Witch Hunter Robin, Bleach, Naruto (especially Shippuden - NOT the films they're rubbish!), Le Chevalier D'eon, Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate, Full Metal Alchemist, Ergo Proxy, Ghost in The Shell and Princess Mononoke.

I like a lot of different kinds of music - anything from metal to rock to chilled out ambient stuff or acoustic stuff. Some bands to make this vague statment better: Incubus, Emilie Autumn, Laura Marling, Coheed and Cambria, NIN, White Zombie, Manchester Orchestra, The Silversun Pickups, Massive Attack, VnV Nation, K's Choice, Within Temptation, Portishead, The Albumn Leaf, Lamb, Tool, Mazzy Star, The Foo Fighters, Evanescence, Vast, City and Colour Alexisonfire.
