I don't believe in cops, bosses, or politicians, some call that anarchism...i call it having a fucking heart that beats(not my words).

I'm all the things...queer, radical, vegan, anti-capitalist, anti-statist etc...they all seem pretty related to me. At the same time I always believe that if you "don't look outside the things that you believe they're gonna kill you."

I am really into the ocean and I surf all the time. I am secretly sporty. You can find me rollerblading the skate park sometimes and I wear a helmet, the punk rock level of that is debatable. I read and write and cook and bake and sew. i like stick n pokes.

I'm usually smiling and kind and friendly, but am often filled with rage at the levels of oppression and suffering in this fucked up world.

A long time ago I was a special ed teacher, not so long ago I was a social worker. Now I do work against domestic violence, as well as organizing around some other things I am passionate about, housing justice being my biggest focus currently. I also am trying to be a better human being and friend partner and advocate and tool against capitalism oppression patriarchy etc while hopefully building something built on humanity and compassion. This means i bite my finger nails a lot.

Listening, for reals. Telling long stories with about 10 other stories in the middle. I like to think i'm a pretty good cook and baker and I spent like 12 years working with kids...so I think I'm pretty good at understanding kids.

I can also juggle and walk on my hands, but I'm not into burning man.

Loud voice, stupid jokes, maybe absurd hair and that I kind of wear the same thing all the time, which reminds me that I love people who are cartoon characters and recognizable from the same outfit day after day

I'm a freak about books...
Lately I've been completely obsessed with Samuel Delany.

I love Infinite Jest, Slaughter-House Five, 1984, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, and His Dark Materials Trilogy more than most things on this goddamned planet

Not private but kind of random...when people hang with me in my room they usually snack on chocolate chips that were already on my desk...nobody says no to chocolate chips
