My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So, this is the part where I'm supposed to tell you how awesome I am, right?

I'm awesome. Not convinced yet? Moving on...

I'm motivated, ambitious, friendly, have a sense of humor (at least I laugh at my jokes?), athletic / fit, and love staying active by running, playing soccer, and doing any random activity that looks fun along the way.

I've been in the city a few years now after moving here from the midwest, and spent most of that time focused on my career, but recently done some things to have better balance and am ready to meet someone great.

I'm currently busy wearing down the Citibikes on a street near you (figuratively, not literally...that would be kind of creepy).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been living in NYC for 5 years now, after moving here for work in the asset management industry. When I'm not honing my skills as an excel jockey, I also stay very active in running, sports, hiking - pretty much anything that gets the heart rate up.

I also use my vacation time to go see the world or visit my friends that have spread out all over the place... a customs officer once asked me if I had put my passport through the wash because it was so worn - that pretty much sums up my view on it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Thinking about what to write here
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm standing in front of them?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Game of Thrones, Outliers, Shantaram
Movies - Lots, but favorites include Shawshank Redemption, Snatch, Dumb & Dumber
TV - LOST (missing it at least), Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, It's Always Sunny, most sports
Music (a sampling based on my current itunes) - Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Capital Cities, Macklemore, Of Monsters & Men
Food - Everything, but if I had to choose, Mexican
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
running shoes
iPhone (now S4, I'm a defector) and my headphones (need something to listen to on the run)
Skyline chili (I'll explain...)
family & friends
somewhere new to travel
good coffee (I don't count starbucks, but the Blonde flavor is an improvement)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Stuff. Mostly good stuff. And food? What do I have in the fridge right now... oh, and our existential place in the universe of course (I can still do that while rummaging around the fridge).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Fridays are overrated. Hitting happy hour if I can get out of work early enough, and probably calling a night early so I can prep for a morning workout... Saturday is generally the go-to going out night for me
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm left-handed. Yes, that's a very private matter, don't tell anyone I have bad handwriting, it's not my fault.

If that doesn't cut it, I can't blow bubbles with chewing gum. Not even bubblelicious. Hope that's not a dealbreaker.

You're awesome. Or, if you're not awesome, you're a really good cook (yes I think about food often)
