What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a really interesting job that allows me to do the things I like: solve problems creatively, do different things every day, manage teams of people, taste interesting food. I have a wonderful girlfriend and we have a dog and a backyard and a friend lives next door who'll take the dog any time we want to travel.
So life is good.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making you laugh.
Putting people at ease
Keeping everyone's secrets.
Telling stories
Driving and biking in NYC
Planning trips to Fire Island
Planning trips
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I was recently told I'm "intentionally enigmatic". I don't play games, I'm just a very private person.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I once only read Fitzgerald for an entire year over and over. I did that also with Cormac McCarthy. The last great books I read were Brothers and The Botany of Desire. I don't really read as much as I'd like, unfortunately.

The Boss. Robyn. Nicki Minaj. Preservation Hall Jazz Band. The soundtrack to Hair. I like to dance.

Movies are great, aren't they? Big Tarantino fan (one of about 5 directors I know by name so do not mistake me for some kind of film snob): Death Proof, Inglorious Basterds, Django Unchained. Other snazzy pieces I love: 28 Days Later, Drop Dead Gorgeous, She's the Man, Moonstruck (pretty much any movie filmed in the 80's in NYC, actually).

I love food and have made it part of my career in one way or another pretty much my whole adult life. In the winter, Minneola oranges take the cake. However, now it is spring and I shall wait patiently until it is time to eat watermelon all day every day.
I once won a pretty cool award for a burger recipe. I am currently perfecting my technique for roast beef po' boys and I've nearly got it, though it made need to be put on hold because it is almost Time to Grill Everything.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
my friends, my brother, humor, dancing, swimming and water, art, Fall, books, theater, vanilla, my (chef's - someone told me to specify) knife, travel. I guess that's like 30 things but whatever. You're not the Thing Police.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Amusing anecdotes.
Sex and kink
The reason
How to frame the pieces in my small but growing art collection so they don't looked trapped.
Water features - I just love 'em.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a banya in south Brooklyn with my gorgeous girl Morganirene.
I used to be searching for the best Italian-American restaurant in Brooklyn, but I found it, so maybe there, drinking red wine and eating baked clams.
Drinking beer and watching The Sopranos cause I just started watching that show and I'm hip like that.
Maybe working.
On a date?
Probably planning on going to a movie and then deciding not go because it'll be crowded.
Getting the *&%! outta NYC: mountain, beach, different city, etc

You want to. Look, I'm not everyone's cup of tea, and neither are you (or are you?) so if you think we might get along, let's try it on for size.
