Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find dating in my 40’s to be more complicated than it was years
ago. I think we’re both more aware of what we can live with and
what we can’t. I believe love is limitless. I don’t really expect
to find everything I need in one other person. I identify as
polyamorous but find that I’m willing to be monogamous if someone
that has my heart needs me to be. I prefer to make friends and see
where things go from there. Openness and transparency are a big
deal for me. Drama and jealousy have no place in a relationship. I
want relationships that don't have to be defined, that meld well
with the crazy world around me while opening up new venues I may
have never considered.
If you look at the description of an ENTP personality in a Meyers
Briggs test, you’ll know many of my strengths and weaknesses. I’m a
water baby and am surprised I still don’t live at the ocean. I love
anything outdoors and enjoy hiking and backpacking.
I've been single and dating for the last five years after a 20+
year marriage. The kids are young adults now or heading there
quickly. It’s time to find life’s next chapter.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Raising children, building businesses, and exploring relationships
and the world around me.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Communicating my thoughts and feelings. Seeing the bright side.
Making lemonade when life hands you lemons. Believing in others
around me. Most things I put my mind to. I also seem to make a
pretty good amateur masseuse.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The dry humor followed by the smile. I've got to learn not to laugh
at my own jokes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read a lot of non-fiction self-help and business books. I love
all kinds of food as well as new experiences. Movies are always
fun. I tend to lean towards romantic comedies. Some of my favorites
include Bull Durham, A Fish Called Wanda, and Mr Destiny.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My kids are top of this list
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The direction I want life to take. Setting goals and defining
dreams was easier 25 years ago when everything seemed to be in the
future. Now so much of those dreams have either come to be or
became less important. I want to surround myself with people that
make me stretch and imagine the possibilities. Perhaps my muse is
just out there waiting for me to find her.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Any number of things from activities with the kids to dinner out
with friends to enjoying a quiet evening. Being an extrovert, I
always prefer other's company.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Karaoke scares me and that’s a big reason I do it. Many karaoke
singers prefer slower songs providing lots of opportunities to slow
dance and I hate to ever miss a chance to slow dance.

You're intrigued with anything I've written. I'm always open to
meeting a new friend for a cup of coffee/tea. In real life, you get
a quick idea if chemistry exist between two people.
