I have been known to run along bannisters at three in the morning or sing Les Misérables or Little Shop of Horrors with my friends whilst swinging from a tree. I might be painting childrens faces at the mall, hugging strangers at the airport, or doing yoga in the parking lot. It's not that I have no concept of socially acceptable behavior, it's that I generally don't have any respect for it dictating how I should behave. I believe that we build walls to protect ourselves for good reasons but that they become self-fulfilling prophecies and need to be reexamined regularly.
I am politically opinionated but not actively so. I tilt left in most things: pro-education, pro-marriage equality, even pro-choice. Especially in the last one I mostly believe that the government should butt the hell out. Don’t legislate my morality.
I enjoy theater and will jump at a chance to see a show. From shakespeare in the park to Broadway, it’s always amazing to see someone pour themselves into a character.
I love games of most sorts, but especially board games and card games. You are almost guaranteed to snag my attention with a game night.
I do have a quieter side that you'll see if we get to be friends. I am spiritual, classified as roughly buddhist-agnostic-pagan... if that can be considered any kind of classification. I have gone on 10-day silent meditation retreats if that gives you some ideas.
For a peek behind the curtain, I also have kinky and sensual sides, but I'll reserve those for more intimate conversations.
I would love to find someone to share these adventures with. Drop me a message and we’ll see where the rabbit hole goes. (I don't pay OKC so rating me won't get through, don't be shy)
