My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Someone once called me a "Liebhaberstück" ( roughly translatable as collector's item or objet d'art), and that somehow hits the mark.
I'm conditionally extroverted, i.e. I may be a little shy in the beginning, but I tend to excesses and to being the life of a party once I'm in the mood.

German of origin, now living in France. I begin to like it.

I'm much of a seeker and discontent with a lot of things, but I hope I find my grale.
EDIT: In fact, I found it in terms of a relationship. Just remains to find a career.

The tests here are great, by the way, and I've saved the results of those that didn't fail completely to describe me.
Ich bin der Wurstfachverkäuferin !
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Being full-time honey of the man of my life

Graduated with a master in Russian studies and history, didn't find anything stable in the field. Now changing careers towards medical assistant in psychiatry.

Then I play guitar and piano and sing , and some even say it didn't sound that bad. I'm not really a big sports-person, but I do sports for the results i.e. to feel better. I am a convinced pedestrian, though.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Languages. I am quite a linguistic nerd and enjoy talking foreign languages. Besides I'm good at imitating most German dialects ( I admit I love Bavarian most....) and disguising my voice to make a fool out of myself.
-Useless knowledge of all kind ( see my subjects of study).
- Not bearing a grudge. I forgive and forget, as long as someone is honestly sorry.
-Accepting people the way they are. There aren't any other anyway.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-My low-pitched voice
-My bald head ( better to look like Bruce Willis than like Danny DeVito, right ? )
-My style of clothes ( some would call me a classy skinhead, some a preppy....whatever. I dress down at times, though)
-My serious appetite
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
-Books: Goncharov-Oblomov, Gogol-The Nose, Erofeev- Moscow-Petushki, Gazdanov-Night Roads, Fallada-The Drunkard, Ionescu-Rhinoceros....anything that deals either with the actual reality or which really absurd, so it can't pretend to do that. This excludes any kind of "historical" novels ( which I, being historian, regard as nuisance) and fantasy. Oh, and I happen to love original satire such as aswell.
- Music: Rock ( both Classic and Post-Rock) ,20's, 60's, 70's, 80's, Classical ( Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert ( most of all) , Schumann, Grieg...rather piano), Metal ( Black and "Post-Black" like Alcest and Amesoeurs) any many other things. I have quite a broad taste in music I like, however, what's on the radio is mostly not my cup of tea.
-Food: well, let's say anything, although I prefer hearty things. I'm a very adventurous eater that tries anything at least once but who also appreciates good old German cuisine. I love eating, cooking and anything that deals with food.
I don't mind something vegetarian once in a while, but I guess fanatics on this behalf won't have fun with me.
-Movies: Die Feuerzangenbowle, Texas-Doc Schneider hält die Welt in Atem, Ödipussi, Annie Hall ( Woody Allen is hillarious..), Falling Down, Stalker, Tod eines Schülers, Die Verrohung des Franz Blum...mostly serious stuff, although I like absurd movies and some comedy aswell, and NO contemporary German movies.
-Shows: None. I consider TV a nuisance which will hopefully die out soon.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-A glass of water after waking up. Or better a bottle after some of those nights.
-My personal space. Even it is a broom closet, I need a space that is MINE.
-Hope; although I can be quite a cynic sometimes, it simply keeps me alive
-My friends
-John Barleycorn and his relatives.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
-Where I belong. I've been sceptical about clubs and corporations of any kind for all my life, but I would be happy to find a niche.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends. Having some beers in a cycle of friends, maybe spending time at home. The days of excessive partying are over, though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
-I'm kind of a late bloomer.
-And a very bad driver.
-Oh, and I've served in the military. Not for too long, in fact I was just drafted, but just so you know.
