My Notes edit

My self-summary

I'll warn you from the start- I'm a bit of a geek and still have quite a bit of "inner child" inside me (you know that Toys R Us expression- "I don't wanna grow up I'm a Toys R Us Kid"?- yeah kind of like that). I'm one of those "rare" natives in the DC Metro area. I'm enjoying life and would love to have someone to share it with and vice versa. I have a passion for music -classical's what I play but I have most genres on my iPod and enjoy going to live concerts at Jammin Java, IOTA, the Birchmere, and Wolftrap whenever I get a chance.

I'm also a bit of a computer geek; after getting 2 degrees in music, I have turned down the IT career path and have enjoyed it so far. Spending time with my family and friends is a very important part of my life and I enjoy being outside tossing a Frisbee, playing tennis/racquetball or mini-golf, and taking walks or hikes as the weather suits. You'll also find me staying in and watching a tv/movie, playing a board game with friends, or curled up on the couch reading a good book.I would love to meet someone with whom to share life's multitude of experiences: the good, the bad, the ugly.

What I'm doing with my life

I'm currently fixing various computer issues for a private company, playing oboe with The McLean Symphony and two woodwind quintets, and just got back from a week long stay in the Outerbanks spent with 23 friends in a HUGE house on the beach with over 300 boardgames :-)
I also just played an orchestra gig at the Library of Congress!

I'm really good at

Music, Computers, Boardgames, Laughing, Logistics, Puzzles, Listening

On a typical Friday night I am

Not sure there is a typical Friday for me as I tend to play things by ear, but I'll usually either be hanging out with friends (usually playing a boardgame), enjoying live music at Jammin Java or the Birchmere, rehearsing with a woodwind quintet or orchestra, or just taking the night off with a good book, some beer and my couch (with the iPod blaring of course).

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here

I think I might have a Star Wars addiction....
Oh... and I've seen "Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead"

You should message me if

You feel like it!
"I won't bite... hard...."

Kudos if you know what movie that's from....

Seriously, if you are female, don't smoke, and think we might get along, don't hesitate to drop me a virtual line!
Also, don't be afraid to make the first move and contact ME before I contact you
