My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Wisconsinite, but during the summer I like to think I claim dual residence in the Upper Peninsula. When I'm not pretending to be Annie Oakley while I'm camping on Lake Superior or visiting my family in Michigan, I enjoy the benefits of living downtown and having quick access to spicy cheese bread from the farmer's market.

I've had some awesome jobs over the last five years. I've worked as a wedding photographer, graphic designer, and student advisor. I also spent a summer as a camp counselor for a high school level pre-college access program at UW and absolutely loved it. In my free time I'm guilty of watching too much HGTV and as a result accumulating a long list of DIY projects that I have yet to get to. (Update: I completed my projects! Woot woot.) Specifics aside, chances are if I'm not relaxing at home, I'm probably enjoying the company of good people who can also take pleasure from the simple things life has to offer.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I suppose 'transition' best describes my current point in life. I graduated from UW-Madison a year ago with a Bachelor's in Art and American Indian Studies, and am in the process of wrapping up what I like to fondly refer to as my quarter-life crisis. I previously accepted a position with Teach For America as an elementary school teacher in Oklahoma, but due to concerns with the program, I decided to structure my own career path a little differently instead. I've worked a few grade-A shitty jobs over the last year, but finally started my "big-girl" job at UW this summer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking photos, making people laugh; and making people laugh while taking photos--two skills that complement each other quite nicely.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty darn tall, so probably my height. Otherwise non-atheistically speaking I would say my dry humor. It's bad.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Bike (I rode a thousand miles last year. Slackin' this summer a bit though.)

Time outdoors

A good brew. I'm a sucker for microbrews. Then again, who isn't these days?

My cats (Don't worry, I only have 2.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
“If you don't read the newspaper, you are uninformed; if you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed.”

"History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme."

Although, it is good to keep in mind...

"A witty saying proves nothing."
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Grabbing a brew with a few friends on Atwood, or if I'm feeling really crazy, watching Netflix and falling asleep at 10 pm like the party animal I am.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I still sleep with a stuffed bear. His name is "Misour Bear." Original, I know.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You like good conversation and don't mind a little debate. Arguing is the best. As long as it's all in good sport. Liking beers and bikes is also a plus.
