Oh hello there!
Music and movement are pretty much my life. I have spent some time in Japan and have been a martial artist since I was a wee lass. I like all the things! I have some large tattoos that I just realized you can't see because I don't have pictures of them on here. I'm originally from the bay area, CA. I'm a musician, writer, make-up artist, dancer, singer, fitness and body mod enthusiast, human rights activist and anything my heart is set on doing, I will do. I'm a real go-getter... My life is filled with opportunities and dreams that I plan to achieve in some way, and I believe anything is possible.

When it comes to a relationship, I'm really looking for someone who appreciates me. I'm a strong individual, and I seek the same. Physical attention and emotional support are vital to become close to me. I'm slightly more responsive with touch: being held, embracing, my arm locked with yours, back scratchies - I blame the acquiescence on my French side. I'm just looking for a sweet man to make me smile. I'm very generous, affectionate and fun!
My "Personality" page sums me up actually pretty darn well I'd say. I'd rearrange a couple categories but in general traits and such, it's close.

I am a transgender woman focused on completing my transition in the near future. The road has been tough yet rewarding, and I couldn't be prouder of myself. If you can't appreciate my strength, I'll see none of yours.

Trying to keep busy, yet keeping my stress level down. Dancing, laughing, loving, trying to keep everything together. Just got one of my dream gigs producing a Burlesque variety show at a nice dive in the SE! In my free time I'm keeping up with my blogs and music and DJ at a stripclub.
I want to make it very clear that I am looking for friends or a date that seems like we have potential for a relationship. I'm all down for anti slut-shaming and feminism through sexuality, but I am not a practitioner of "free love."

Well...hm. I like to think driving, and keeping a straight face immediately after I laugh really hard.

I'm usually told, after they find out how old I am, the first thing they noticed about me was the "confident" and/or "mature" air about myself, hence leading them to think I'm older than I am. At least it's not the wrinkles =P

At first, it truly bothered me that I didn't get one of those messages from the staff reading "You are in the top half of the most attractive users on OKCupid." Then, I remembered that this clearly depicts my middle to high school years >

Really must have done a number on my complexion.

A) The Enchanted Forest series by Patricia C. Wrede, The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho and Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto. Old favorites never die! I could read them forever. I finished Bossypants and need a new read. Suggestions?

B) Pan's Labrynth, Amélie, I'm a Cyborg But That's OK, The Neverending Story, Strangers With Candy, Run Lola Run, House of Flying Daggers, Mean Girls, Return to Oz, The King and the Clown, etc. Essentially, foreign films are my favs.

C) I listen to nearly everything. Seriously. Not a joke. Here are my recent obsessions: Woodkid, Phildel, Lana Del Rey, Iggy Azalea, Miike Snow, Azealia Banks, Cœur de pirate, and some old favorites are Kathleen Battle, MSI, Rasputina, System of a Down, Tech N9ne, Yann Tiersen, The Beatles and a million more.

D) Any shape or form of potatoes, and anything cheesy, ha ha ha! Specifically Indian, Mexican, Japanese, Thai and Chinese.

I tend to dress up confrontation with rhetoric, but I get the basic point across nevertheless...is that private enough?
Aaaand...yup. I'm a shoe person. Shoes shoes shoes everywhere.

You're not closed minded. It really saddens me how many great conversations are ended because the other person didn't bother to read my profile. But if someone stops talking to me simply because I don't have a uterus than those aren't the people I want to be talking to anyway.
