My self-summary
To know me is to love me...or hate me...or seriously consider psychotropic drugs as a method of recovering from the experience so you can go back for more, you masochist you...

No, really, ask my friends, I don't bite...much.

I am enigmatic, giggly, and kaleidoscopic
What I’m doing with my life
I work, but not too hard...I play, but not too much...and I try to enjoy everything I do in every moment. I admit, doing dishes isn't my idea of a ripping good time, but I find that it can be rather Zen if you look at it from the right perspective.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, smile, or even just roll their eyes...humor is sometimes underrated as a tool for coping with the shit life flings at us. I am also fairly talented with accents, regional American as well as Irish & English...my Aussie is coming along nicely now as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
a) All of Ray Bradbury & Piers Anthony's works, The Princess Bride (the movie also), Stranger in a Strange Land, Hitchhiker's Guide series, most of Stephen King's work, I've gotten way into Patricia Cornwell's books lately as well

b) Anything by Mel Brooks, A Clockwork Orange (book is better though!), PB (see above), Gattaca, Kevin Smith's films, anything with Robert Downey Jr., Boondock Saints

c) Just about anything with a beat, though I don't particularly favor whiny country music (which isn't to say *all* country music is whiny)

d) I love most fruits and veggies (particularly fond of pomegranates, for some reason...), but I am also an unrepentant omnivore. A bloody rare steak can be heaven at times...as for cuisine, I am pretty open to new experiences, but I am very fond of spicy food lately. However, it is not so fond of me...can you pass the Tums?
The six things I could never do without
Let's see...in no particular order...

1) chocolate...the darker the better! 2) sleep (I think I was a cat in a former life) 3) proximity to the ocean 4) the love of my family (some members more than others) 5) physical affection 6) Ben & Jerry's ice cream

This was a hard question, I don't know why I even tried to answer it...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
string theory. That involves cat's cradles, right? ;-)
On a typical Friday night I am
debating what to do...lately, I find myself making Friday night plans at 8 pm on Friday night. My internal monologue at times resembles those vultures in "The Jungle Book"..."What do you want to do today?"..."I don't know, what do you want to do?"...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not willing to admit it and you can't make me!

Wait, is that my diary in your hand? Give it back!!!

...should you? Really? Do you think that's advisable, in light of everything you've already read? No, seriously, I'm just here for the tests.
