My Self-Summary
I'm an easy-going person who can pretty much get along with anyone.
But, there a few people I really clique with..........and yes that
is all true even though that could be said for most people.
Sometimes I feel lost without conversational depth while other
times I just want to laugh at silly, twisted humor. Mostly, I feel
like those 2 things don't have to be mutually exclusive.
What I’m doing with my life
That is always the question, huh? I work in sales with organic
ingredients yet have a masters in counseling psychology (graduated
in May). I'm on the look out for a job in my field....almost
relocated in Cali in Aug. I'm into holistic health, thus the draw
to the west, but Cali didn't quite feel right ( apparently I'm
waaay too East Coast). So, in the mean time I'm doing some Reiki
volunteering and eating organic chocolate at work (and yoga, and
meditation, and you know, the general never-ending soul-searching).
I’m really good at
Making people feel good/laugh, swimming, dancing, being
spontaneous, worrying then laughing at myself, painting, drawing,
self-taught guitar, waterskiing, wannabe surfer (only tried it once
- can't wait to try again), original nes...................trying
too hard and then trying it lightly.
The first things people usually notice about me
Toss up between my curly hair and height (but who really knows what
goes on in others heads?).
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Siddartha, many other non-Buddhist-related books, Forgetting Sarah
Marshall, I heart Huckabees (and other dark comedies), Baracka,
pretty much anything made by Tarantino, Mad Men, 6 Feet Under, The
Roots, Radiohead, Daft Punk, Led Zep, basmati rice, peanut butter,
sushi, more pretentious foods like Ethiopian and cantaloupe wrapped
in prosciutto......and a big fan of Ole in Inman Square.
I must say - who doesn't like Eternal Sunshine? I think OkCupid should have it pre-loaded in this section for 20 and 30 somethings looking for love. It sums up all the beauty, pain, and humor that unfolds in relationships.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, meaning, helping people, healthcare, consumerism, beauty,
absurdity, boundaries, being outdoors as much as humanly possibly,
wittiness...trying not to have a big ego or a little one either.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most Fridays I like to chill out after a long week. Snuggling up on
the couch with the man of my dreams (could it be you??) before
heading out to chill with friends would be even better.
