My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My self-summary is the whole profile, that's enough summary for a life, there's no point in summarizing a summary.

Let's try a new attempt of minimalism...
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Keeping busy could be the best answer.

PhD program in Physics: magnetic sensors in orbit, planetary magnetism, space weather...

Scouts. Helping to develop the educational programme.

Bass guitar
Couchsurfing (not available right now)
Short movies

Nature: snowshoes, kayaking, hiking...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
...getting involved with people (I'm very empathetic) and with projects (I'm a perfectionist).
... making up surprise plans and gifts.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't think it's that striking, but it seems to be my beard. Also, they say my voice is soothing.

Only what I'm into at this moment...

//Books//: Spanish poets, historical, fantasy...

//Strip cartoons//: www.xkcd.com, www.phdcomics.com' target='_blank'>www.phdcomics.com">www.phdcomics.com, http://explosm.net/...

//Movies//: Ethernal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Garden State, Amelie, Beautiful Girls, Chocolat (my fave five). Most about IIWW or zombies. Star Wars. Kevin Smith, Wes Anderson, Guy Ritchie. Spanish: Amanece que no es poco, Intacto, Airbag, El Milagro de P.Tinto...

//Shows//: Modern Family, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Homeland, The Walking Dead... Yeah, the usual.

//Music//: Barenaked Ladies, Beatles (always!), celtic, jazz, swing. Spanish singer-songwriters (Paco Bello, Rafa Pons)

//Food//: mostly anything, but seafood or most of the cooked entrails (yes, *we* eat that here in Spain).
There's always room for desserts! Always!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The
Amazing
Feeling
Of
Being
Alive
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Maybe my past... Maybe my future...
(I know, I should be thinking about my present).

Most probably, about women or my f*** thesis... :(
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I could be planning activities for the weekend: camping, getaways to somewhere, games with friends, indoors or outdoors.
I could be at the movies, or involved in a nice chat somewhere in the city, with a cup of wine and nice people.
I could be resting at home, recovering from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
... is that I'm not as indestructible as I pretend to be...

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
... You want. Moreover: do! We both might be surprised of what we found! Your message will always get an answer!

Extra bonus if you feel a passion about something. Anything.

It's sad to find so many amazing people around here and then realizing they live really far away... But if you still think it might be worth it, I'd be glad to speak with you!

This is probably the only box you will read, according with my experience! Heh!

----- FUSSY UPDATE-------------------------

- Growing fed up with the whole shallowness of this site.

- ...But also with the bitter people that despise all levels of shallowness. Bravo for your coherence; boo for your whinning. There is a point in the middle!

- I wonder why so many "(Religion) and very serious about it" turn out to show tremendously provocative and sensual pictures, or to have children while being single mothers...

- How many of the visits that I receive won't send a message because of some kind of pride or sense of order "man-starts-conversations-always"? If it happens so, send me this model message: "Please, I'd love you to be the first in writing to me" ;)

- Funny how I receive way more visits and messages since I added this "fussy update" section: arguing type, aren't we, ladies? XD But hey, that's a start as well!
