My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I have an 'eccentric' personality. My interests are very diversified. I guess I can say that I'm an artist at heart and love being creative, as a hobby not as a career. I read insane amounts of books each week, and watch waaaaaaaay to much tv (have been cutting down a bit). I like baseball, hockey, camping and roadtrips. I have a tendency to say what's on my mind and although I'm a bit on the shy & quiet side (in person) it tends to be less apparent when you get to know me better.

I'm kinda into the environment and trying to do things that help it. I kinda want it around in say ....10 years. I'm not like hardcore about it. I'm not gonna yell at you if you use insane amounts of plastic bags or leave every light on in your house(although I will go around turning them off).

I'm willing to try a lot of things right now, at least once. No that does not include bungee jumping, skydiving or white water rafting. I'm not into thrill seeking just for the hell of it. I'm not about to tempt death.

In short, I'm artistic, kinda-quiet, and funky.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I recently finished my bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Professional Writing. I'm currently working part time at Home Depot and loving every minute of it, even though I start working crazy early in the morning. I'm looking into also doing some editing or technical writing work since I really enjoyed my professional writing classes in university.

I also have a home-based greeting card business...I make cards so I can sell them at craft fairs and online. I also recently added some of the scarves and hats that I've knitted to my online shop.

I also did a fair amount of volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity in the last few years, and I'm quite proud of having helped to build two houses (well 4 since they were duplexes). I'm also thinking of volunteering at an animal shelter since I'm an animal, mostly dog, lover.

Although I'm not one to make New Year's resolutions, I never seem to stick to them, this year I promised myself I would start eating healthier (easy to do since I discovered I enjoy cooking a lot) and exercising (so not easy to do, especially when you discovered new muscles you never knew existed). I'll admit that while I failed miserably at keeping both at times but I'm still sticking to it.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Jeopardy, useless trivia, painting, cooking, baking, organizing stuff (although I can't seem to keep it that way), not sleeping.

I'm good at not getting lost, despite the fact that I might not know the city or place where I am.

Thinking up really random or weird questions like " Do you drink pickle or olive juice?" or "Have you pretended to be a parking meter for a day?"

Confusing people... and sometimes myself.

I'm also very good at killing plants. I like having them in my house and despite my best efforts and good intentions, they just never make it :(

Oh, and assembling Ikea furnitures (if only I could make loads of money doing that full time).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really don't know.. can someone tell me?

I would say that I'm usually never without a book (or my ipad since that's where i read most of them now)

or

That my hair color is usually obviously not natural...it tends to be dark purple, red or black although I have done pops of colours such as blue, pink or bright red streaks.

If you asked my co-workers, they'd probably say I'm wearing something purple or with owls on it....and they're probably right about that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach, White Oleander by Janet Fitch, Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold and anything by Janet Evanovich, Patricia Cornwell, Catherine Coulter, Lee Child, Kathy Reichs and Karin Slaughter ...any mystery really.

Movies: Rent, UHF, anything by Michael Moore, Crash, Shrek, The Wild Hunt. I'm mostly into comedies, dramas, animation and mysteries.

I'm way more into television shows and some of my recent favourites (this changes on yearly basis) are How I Met Your Mother, Burn Notice, Numb3rs, Hawaii Five-0 (the new one), NCIS and just about anything on the Food Network. I recently got into cooking and I like watching for new ideas, although I would never eat most of what I see on those shows.

Music: Gavin Degraw, Marc Broussard, Crystal Bowersox, Hedley, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars, Kate Voegele.... the list goes on and on and it's quite diverse.

Foods: Mexican, Poutine, Uncle Karl's Deer Sausage, Deep Fried Ice Cream from Mesa 14 and the Coconut cupcakes from Petits Gateaux. Right now I'm getting into this whole trying new foods thing and it's been rewarding.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Family and Friends
2) My little white dog
3) Books...it's a must have
4) Music
5) Nature
6) Art Stuff
7) My bike
8) My camera...I couldn't keep the list at 6

There's also my car... but only cause there's no bus in my town and the closest one isn't within a reasonable walking distance.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why on earth I took a biology and chemistry classes (in college) just for the fun of it? Or why I took two finance classes even though I pretty much hated them.

Why I love the smell of gasoline?

If it would be fun to paint my living room orange with purple polka-dots?

Why the most impossible item to flush is a Ping-Pong ball?.... which I 've been forbidden by my father from trying to do, at home at least.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching TV, spending time on the internet, watching a baseball game.

I'm not into clubs or bars and don't go to often, I prefer staying home.

Most likely though, going to bed early say around 10 pm because either I've gotten super early (as in 4am) or have to get up super early for work.

The weirdest thing I've done on a friday night is drive to my friends place, 50 km ( 30 miles for you non-metric people)in a blizzard, just to watch movies.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I kinda know the words to Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice by heart, and if the songs should happen to come on the radio I will blast it really loud.

The craziest thing was stepping inside the same cage, yes cage not enclosure, as a lynx. In case you are wondering, yes I was allowed to do so, the guy who owned the animal refuge/rehabilitation center opened the door and told me to step inside since I wanted a better picture.

And finally... my natural hair colour is.... drumroll please... BLONDE, although I haven't seen that since the week after I graduated from high school.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You think I'm cool, to tell me I'm weird, anything.... really. Even if you don't really have a reason, that's cool too. Come up with any excuse you want to message me if you want.

Or If you can quote UHF in it's entirety. Jeez, if you can do that I wanna meet you so that you can prove it.

I don't want to sound mean but if you refuse to use punctuation, spelling (perfekt speling not a requiremint :P - but make an effort), good grammar and can only (or mostly) write in acronyms, please don't waste our time. This drive me nuts and I will not answer you. And yes I know the difference between poor grammar and english ( or french) not being your native tongue.
