Book - The Elements of Style (read it and start writing better), The Gunslinger, and about a hundred others. I'm a new fan of David Sedaris. Anything weird, funny, epic or all of the above usually makes me happy. I haven't delved into fantasy much, which is largely due to the copious amounts of character names.
Movies - If you do not genuinely believe that 3000 Miles to Graceland is the greatest film of all time, then you are an uncultured asshole. The film truly encompasses our post-modern ennui in the most honest and deliberate way possible - Elvises (What is the plural of Elvis... Elvii?) with guns.
Food - "There is naught nor ought there be nothing so exalted on the face of god's grey Earth as that prince of foods... the muffin!" - Frank Zappa. I make some mean mochi muffins - they dominate mouths and destabilize the space-time continuum.
Music - Anything weird, heavy, or both. An abridged list: Zappa, GWAR, Primus, Les Claypool, Tom Waits, Rammstein, Tool, Strapping Young Lad, Mike Patton, Warren Zevon, Opeth, Nuclear Rabbit, and numerous others.

Gravity, magnetism, Newton's Laws, spite, misanthropy, and honey.

Zombies, Transhumanism, and what it really means to be a human. Where does our consciousness begin and end? Is it in our brains or just the electricity in them... or is it something else?

Definitely not fighting crime.

I used to be really afraid of the dark, and occasionally that fear creeps back into my life (thankfully for only a short period of time).

You are actually interested and want to go out on a date. I'm not here to make new friends, not that I don't want to become your friend as well. My primary purpose is dating.

Please don't waste my time. If you are going to flake, then be flaky on your own time with someone that has more patience than I do. This will sound arrogant, and it is, but there is no shortage of interest in what I have to offer. If you want a shot, then take it. If you are uncertain, then leave me alone. I have things to do.
