Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy life and I have an adventuresome spirit. I have a good
sense of humor but never at someone else's expense. Good values are
important to me as are ethics. I am a great friend to the end. I
have a loving heart and I am smart. I am a kind, decent human
being-when I die I'll know I tried in some way to make the world a
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've already lived a full life...organized a big project of a house
on wheels moving 1&1/2 miles, I traveled for five months in
Bangladesh, I built a successful private practice when in
California, I wrote a book that people enjoy reading, and I have
had adventures. I am ready to share time with an educated, active,
funny, articulate man. I am reinventing my life since I am now
single and living in the city-Chicago. I raised a wonderful, smart
daughter who is in a great college and I cared for an aging parent,
but now I am free and ready to enjoy life to the fullest.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a great friend and companion. I am good at listening and
understanding people. I have written an imaginative novel that was
well received, thus I am a good writer. I am a good dancer when it
comes to free dance. I am quite creative. I am good at problem
solving. I can easily say positive things about people. I am good
at being optimistic. I am good at in-depth conversation.
The first things people usually notice about me

My warm smile, my light hair that is long, and my friendliness is
what people notice first. After they know me they see I have a kind
heart and that I am very insightful.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I LOVE MUSIC..all kinds. I can go to classical concert and then go
hear jazz. I can sing and blend my voice with a good male voice. I
like classical guitar and folk music and new age and good rock and
blues. I even like some current music. BOOKS: The short story book,
The Interpreter of Maladies, is so well written. I like different
books, such as Reading Lolita in Teheran or The Gifted Adult or The
Book of Qualities but will read your favorite book. I reread The
Scarlet Letter and it really is a classic. Emily Dickinson's poetry
is wonderfully to the point. I like some obscure movies: Made in
Heaven, Grey Owl, Lost in Austen and the better known films: Shaw
Shank Redemption, The Piano, Sleepless in Seattle, Anna and the
King, Good Will Hunting and many more..love romantic comedies as
well. And food...organic strawberries, yum, and good chocolate,
yum, and many fruits and veggies...so many wonderful tastes in
food...I eat pretty healthy.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The ability to give love and to receive love. Empathy which is
important in understanding. My daughter who has a golden heart.
Good long term friends. Pen and paper for writing. Inner peace.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I am a deep thinker. These days I think about cranial sacral body
work which I practice. It is the most powerful body work I have yet
found and I am grateful to have had many wonderful experiences with
it. If you have not heard of Cranial Sacral, it has a very good
reputation for its effectiveness. I also think & reflect on how
humanity needs to do better...with the Earth and her resources and
to learn how to be co-creative globally. I also reflect on what
inner peace is. And I think about building a new life and the
excitement I feel in thinking about new adventures and new people.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Music events, the theater, dancing, a movie or a quiet dinner out
are all nice activities to enjoy with good company on a Friday
night. Cozy at home is good too with music or a well done movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was 21 years old I had a VW bus and I rebuilt the engine by
reading a book called The Idiot's Manual to VW Repair. My friends
will vouch for me that I did rebuild an engine and it worked great.
And I am such a feminine woman! And I was a daring 21 year old who
did not have money to pay someone else to repair the engine!
