My self-summary Propose an edit

Hmmm, I am 31 in the Army and taking college classes on a fairly routine basis... I Arrived in Korea in August 08 and I don’t know when I will be back. I am trying to redefine who and what I am as a person (I found a few things that I didn’t like), so I am expanding my horizons in several directions at once. This is kind of difficult to explain in writing. So, just ask me if you really want to know.

I can be shy as hell in social gatherings and I have a tendency to be indecisive when it come to talking to people for the first time. Don’t get me wrong, I can be aggressive as hell when I need to be, I am just very nervous when it comes to someone I am interested in.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I am trying to get to the point to retire from the military (I have 7 more years), finish my Masters degree in Criminal Justice / Criminal law (I routinely flip-flop between the two). At the moment I have an Assoc. in both. I also have a hobby of toying with my medical certifications. I currently have my CPR card, AED certification and I am a Combat Life saver (kind of a medic).

I'm really good at Propose an edit

Cooking, Cleaning, Solving problems with People, electronics, automotive work and some gardening. I am also good at Ending fights, Riding Motorcycles, Horses, Massage Therapy, Rock climbing, Off Roading, Being an all around handyman.

Yes, I know!! I don't sound like the typical tough guy, don't let it fool you. I can be an evil S.O.B. if I want to be.

I usually have a very neutral or even angry look on my face!!! It’s nothing personal, that’s just how I scare my soldiers off! It’s easier than having them ask 85,000 questions about Iraq, Afghanistan or anywhere else I have been when I am at work. (I am not mean; I just look like I am). Damn, I am a teddy bear once you get past the land mines and barbed wire.

I am also a fairly big boy for only being 5'9" and 190 pounds, and I am definitely stronger than I look.

If all else fails my Blue eyes, they are not the normal blue and that I am shy in crowds.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Here we go; I will read anything in the fantasy or sci-fi genres. I have read hundreds if not thousands of books in this area, I do get around the Barnes and nobles, Books-a-million, Dillon’s and Hastings but that’s where I spend a lot of time.

Some of my favorite authors include Robert Jordan, Robert Aspirin, Isaac Asminov, Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, Elizabeth Moon, Orson Scott Card, Harry Turtledove, and several more

Movies I am fairly open minded, I will watch anything as long as I have the time. Yes, I have wasted time in the "b" and "c" class movie section before.

Music, is another big field for me, I will listen to anything but hard core rap.

Food, I am completely un afraid of food. You can not gross me out or scare me out of a restaurant. I do have preferences though, Thai, Greek, Japanese, Italian, Arabic, and Chinese.

MY two sons, (they live in Georgia) so I don’t get to see them very often.
Work occupies most of my time, but when I get out of uniform anything will catch my attention and hold it.
