My Office Space Movie Test
I just realized this makes me feel like I am filling out one of
those All About
Me books that was required from my undergrad communication
class.
SparkNotes Version:
I'm honest to a fault, I like to play devils advocate, I crave
change and adventure, I like to be challenged, I like helping
others, I wear my mind on my sleeve and occasionally my heart in
the right situation. I'm well educated and I'm accustomed to doing
things on my own. I'm always willing to take a chance on soemthing
I beleive in, as I think it is better to try and fall flat on my
face, than to wonder what if?
Getting my profile to 100% version (how do they decide XXX required
characters anyway?):
I can be called a random traveller. I'm one of
those people that can talk to anyone and often do. I can be a
fierce friend and I don't mind defending my point of view. I love
travelling because it always leads to some type of adventure. There
is just something about staying at a hostel and meeting new people. I
frequently travel alone, which provides a different perspective. I
enjoy meeting new people but I am also equally happy staying in for
the evening or going out to a basketball game and dinner
alone.
I always try to rise to the occasion and love being challenged in
life, making me a pretty competitive person. I don't have to be the
best, but I at least have to try. I can be described someone who is
spontaneous, outgoing yet not high strung. I know, weird but that’s
me, a walking conundrum.
To make a living I'm concert photographer,
HR manager and
run a music zine, called From
The Crowd.
I am not a big planner, although it seem like it to the outside
world, until you really know me. If you're into personality tests I
am an EnTP, DiSC says I am a Conductor (11).
What does this mean? Well, that I love to play devils advocate, am
quick on my feet, and think way outside the box among other
things.
Don't ask me for the truth, if you don't want to hear it.
Life should be fun and full of surprises... I think we forget that
too often.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I enjoy what I do at my daily job, plus its great to be involved
with music and photography. I'm also taking time to get into better
shape and travel more. I suffered a really bad knee injury running
a little over a year ago, so I am taking it slow.
I started a zine
focusing on music, which has actually taken up a ton of my time,
but has opened many opportunities for me. If you're a music writer, I might
have opportunities for you!
I'm working on getting into better shape from an injury, so that is
exciting. I've started walking, a lot, I'm a little too nervous to
start running yet, but I am sure I will get there. I'm getting much
faster on my Tempe Town Lake walks, and am up to 22 miles a week.
I'm training for the P.F. Chang Rock n Roll Half Marathon in January. I have
time to train for the Marathon, but I'm really nervous about
hurting my knee again, so maybe next year.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Thinking outside the box... if you have a problem, I'll come up
with a solution, it might not be the best one, but it will work..
just trust me.
Once upon a time I was a golfer and almost played in college until
I decided I didn't wnat to do it for the next 4 years, although I
still have a "textbook swing".
I'm also good at being a "Jill" of many things. I learn this very
quickly, so I can learn most things I have interest in. Telling
jokes badly.... and tpying to fsat and having lots of typos.
I've also recently become addicted to Rock Band and Guitar Hero for Wii, although I'm not really that good
at it.
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
That I talk really fast and always carry a camera with me.
I often get complimented on my smile and people often notice that
they can easily open up to me.

The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
I guess I would say a backpack, a journal, a camera, a pen, ideas and a full mp3 player.
There is just something about looking back at pictures and old
journals that can really show how you have changed as a person. I
also believe it is possible to connect with a song, in such a
strong way, that hearing it can completely transport you to an
important time or connect you to a feeling.
It amazes me to look back two or four years ago and see where my
thoughts were. Often, they seem to be in the same place as they are
now, but other times, its just funny to see how you felt in a
moment.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
I guess everything... My mind is always going.. and if you let me I
will go off on a tangent all the time, but I understand it is an
entertaining experience.
Lately, I've been spending a lot of time thinking about not letting
opportunities pass me by, or doing the things I've always wanted
to. I just can't see myself sitting behind a desk for the rest of
my life. I want to experience life and have everyday have an
element of surprise or discovery. I'm not saying I want to climb K2
one day and then go shark diving the next, its just I want to
appreciate the small things, while not being afriad to take the
next big step.
So, to help this part of my life along, I set a goal to start
checking things off the "list", you know the "I'd love to do
this... if only". A few things I've taken off my list this year
include:
Showing a portfolio to Rolling Stone, Spending the 4th of July in
Washington DC, Working my first paid photography gig, and keeping
in better contact with my family.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Out and about... I can be found either at: Walking with Friends at
Tempe Town Lake, at The Marquee Theatre or
The
Clubhouse catching or taking photos at a show, a Suns Game, the movies,
First Friday
or at home working on my website/zine or watching a movie at home.

Test Question:
Be honest. Have you ever been chased by the police?
Answer: Yes and its a really good story!
I really likes this test result, and yes, this is an evil ploy to
make my profile more complete:
The Modernist
You scored 100Artist, 75 Philosopher, 68 Scientist!
You represent all that is hypermodern in thinking and existing in
today's society. You live a very active and agile mental life,
combining it with sporadic activities that involve intense personal
expression (art, blogging, etc.) As opposed to the other types,
your thinking style is a combination of: methodical, artistic and
introspective. This means you are at different points in time
capable of: valuing something, imagining it spatially, and enjoying
its value exponentially. You are likely highly literate, but you
are a jack of all trades in that no particular field captures your
fancy entirely. You may find yourself involved in a range of
activities; make sure you are comfortable with your own identity
and that you do not neglect any of the major aspects of thought.
There could potentially be a propensity for skiddishness or
flightiness. Furthermore, you are very easy going as a friend and
partner ... easily absorbing the personalities around you, but not
committing to any side in particular. Quote from a Modernist:
"People often think I'm flip flopping on my opinions, when in
reality, I'm just seeing many sides to something." Examples of
Modernists: Tony Blair, Leonardo Da Vinci, Aristotle
