My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an avid pianist (and general lover of music), a lifelong video gamer and an enthusiastic teacher. I'm pretty laid back with life, tending to take things slowly and easily, but I'm (usually) open to trying new things.

I love music, with a particular fondness for rock music and instrumental music (mostly Baroque, Classical, Romantic and some impressionistic and neo-Classical). I take great pleasure in learning new songs and arranging my own covers of other songs (I have a YouTube channel for such shenanigans). I LOVE to sing but am absolutely shockingly bad at it so I try not to inflict it on others too much. I've just started learning violin, which is proving to be a lot of fun. Lastly, I mess around in FL Studio a fair bit, but I'm only reasonably acquainted with it.

REALLY big on video games, they've been an integral part of my life since I was about seven. HUGE fan of sci-fi games (Freelancer, various Star Wars games) and Western RPGs (Elder Scrolls springs to mind). In more recent times my gaming has been slightly reduced in favour of piano and work, but the enthusiasm is definitely still there.

I've completed my studies in education, but I'd also love to be a professional pianist some day. I also have a fondness for writing; not my forte but a fun little hobby on the side.

Chronically addicted to the Internet =P

I prefer parties with a few people I know well/share interests with rather than parties with a huge crowd of people I don't know, but that doesn't mean I dislike either. I admit I prefer to hang around at home with one or two people but I won't say no to hitting up the town with friends, either!

Very big on politics. Conversely it's not something I talk about a great deal, either.

Lastly, I really, really love horses (sadly don't own one).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently searching for employment as a teacher and considering the possibility of furthering my musical interests (either by enrolling for a Bachelor of Music at the University of Adelaide or continuing my studies with the AMEB).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Piano (well, not REALLY good... I guess "accomplished"?)

Video games (I know, that's really not a bragging point)

Teaching (I like to think of myself as very patient when it comes to imparting knowledge)
The first things people usually notice about me

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter (I know, woefully unoriginal)

Movies: The Avengers, Iron Man (the first two, the third was a bit silly), pretty much anything by Pixar, The Beatles movies ("Yellow Submarine", "A Hard Days Night" and "Help!"), the Harry Potter movies, the original Star Wars trilogy (I don't mind the prequels, but definitely prefer the originals); basically action and comedy.

Shows: My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic, JonTron (it counts!) Futurama, QI, Top Gear, Mythbusters, Always Sunny in Philadelphia (kinda... some are good, some are bleh), Archer, Supernatural (only watched the first couple of seasons, though), Dragonball Z, good seasons of The Simpsons, Breaking Bad

Music: The Beatles, Jet (rock music in general), anything from the common practice period

Video games: StarCraft -- StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, the Warcraft series, The Elder Scrolls series, World of Warcraft before it became shit, League of Legends, Ancient Domains of Mystery, Pokemon, Freelancer, Saints Row series, Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 (haven't actually played 3 yet), Crysis series, SimCity... honestly, pretty much anything

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working, haha. Otherwise hanging with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
