I am a gentleman, kind lover, and hard to find rareity.
My Self-Summary
A digital guy turning analog - while the whole world is going the
other way. A martial artist, a computer geek, I like hiking and
being everyone's psychologist or just a soul mate. Good with words,
lousy with names. A self-educated being that devours an enormous
amount of information about everything - and usually ends up with a
huge pile of interconnected and esoteric knowledge up my brain. An
avid atheist with severe kink for science, technology and
philosophy - and anything that goes in between :-)
What I’m doing with my life
At the risk of repeating myself, and being sort-of crude: Working
in the IT industry - mostly helping people and businesses untangle
themselves from the technological hodge-podge they've got
themselves into... I practice both external and internal Asian
martial-arts (what is collectively known in the west as Kung-Fu,
and Tai-Chi) - simply the best way to unwind in the end of a hard
working day and shake-off that office chair feeling... I guess I'm
a sucker for anything intellectually challenging that makes me feel
alive.
I’m really good at
Listening, analyzing things and coming up with a good advice - as
it applies to many situations. I also excel in giving back rubs and
massages of sorts (always frustrated by not finding someone as
equally capable to treat me the same).
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm tall, curious, and can intelligently blend in almost any
conversation topic ("...yes! turtles have a similar respiratory
system!"). Some take notice of my huge hands.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Hmm... to name a few: The House of Sleep (Jonathan Coe), THHGTTG,
anything by Lars von Trier, Peter Greenway, Mike Leigh, Paul Simon,
Tori Amos, Dire Straits, Queen, Ella Fitzgerald, Rachelle Ferrell,
Pink Floyd... (Really - I'm an omnivore when it comes to culture)
The six things I could never do without
Love, Sex, Intelligent people, Arts (Music, Graphics, Literature),
Meditation, sleeeeeeepp.....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
being a better person, finding new venues in my life, squeezing it
all in my schedule.
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with friends and family. Occasionaly I'm somewhere
around a campfire, getting ready for and early morning wake-up for
another adventureous day in the wild...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've hypnotised a few people in the past, as in "you begin to feel
sleepy...", etc.
You should message me if
You liked what you've read, you've got a life of your own, and
missing a truely usefull companion :-)
