My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
They call me the seeker... I've been searchin' low and high! I won't get to get what I'm after 'till the day I die.

Those lyrics (and the rest of that song) really resonate with me - I feel they describe me perfectly.

The label that best fits me is "hippie" - I love and accept all people, don't believe in monogamy, am "high on life", know my own mind well, do my best to make the world a better place, feel that most social conventions are bullshit, am somewhat spiritual, and have an interest in psychedelia and 60's and 70's counterculture, music and fashion.

When people ask me where I'm from I generally respond with "everywhere and nowhere", because I grew up as a military brat and moved around a lot. As a result I am very adaptable and very accepting, but possibly also somewhat awkward.

I enjoy intellectual/philosophical/scientific discussions, and am very open - no secrets here!

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
New Stimuli
Other people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lots of things - the nature of consciousness, my social interactions, what happens when we die, how absolutely fascinating the universe is (especially brains!). I have this metaphysical idea called the truth-seeking love machine. Maybe I'll tell you about it someday, when you know me well enough to not think I'm spouting crackpot hippie nonsense.

I also have a tendency to trap myself in my own echo chamber - to spend too much time thinking and not enough time gaining new stimuli, to decide I already understand everything important so I don't need to pay attention to it, and then annoy myself because I don't have any new stimuli. Maybe YOU can be some of those new stimuli?

The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I worry that I won't find someone that understands me, that lots of people will like me but think I am ridiculous.
