My self-summary
Okay, now that I have a little time. I can write about myself (which is something I'm not very good at doing). But I digress... It's taken me awhile to figure out what I want to do for the rest of my life.

That being said, I see myself being in non-profit work for the rest of my life. Being in a corporate setting for so long has taught me how NOT to treat people. Yes, there's workplace politics everywhere. However, if you love what you do, then it's not considered work, right? I feel that non-profit work has grounded me a lot
more and am so grateful for the things, events, and opportunities I have had.

I'm very low key and am simple. I'm an old soul. Not afraid to admit that...But anyway, I don't need anything overly fancy in my life... All I need is a roof over my head, FITTina*, good friends, food, and drink, and I'm set. It'd be nice to connect with someone that feels the same way I do...

Oh, great segue: I would love to travel around to as many places as I can in my lifetime. Stick me with the man of my dreams in Tahiti and I'm set.

I enjoy a lot of things. If you're interested, just ask me. I don't bite......no really I- ok, maybe a little, ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Grad school, trying to move up and leave a big dent in this world, and eventually doing data research for HIV/AIDS & or adolescent studies...
I’m really good at
Cooking... I Love to cook. When time . I'm pretty domesticated. Sssshhhh... Don't tell any guys that. I'm also the King of putting songs in someone's head...I can also drive in this crazy-a** traffic in NYC and New Jersey... I love to drive, even in this crazy area...and I'm starting to regain my love for running again...slowly but surely..
The first things people usually notice about me
People think I'm Spanish when I'm actually Filipino (good genes), lol. I also have a signature walk for days. You're just going to have to see it believe it, lol. I also have a samurai hair style going on at the moment. Talk to me later if you'd like to find out why (for a worthy cause: hint).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- Honestly, I don't read books all that much unless it's SPSS related.

Movies- I watch all types of movies. I'll probably lose a few when I say I'm not too big on Star Wars and Star Trek. Sorry.. but MY campy movie go to's are either White Chicks or Mrs. Doubtfire (primarily because I can recite the entire movie)..then there's Escape From Alcatraz with Clint Eastwood, Argo (a Ben Affleck fan after that movie), Bringing Down the House, etc.

Music- I love most types of music. However, I find myself diving into the older music genre's (80's music, Mariah Carey PRE-Butterfly, some Miguel, Pitbull, some Oasis, Tears for Fears, Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam, Teena Marie, OutKast, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and that's just a sample...)

Food- I love food. I'll eat almost any cuisine. I can cook too but don't tell anyone that, lol. But I ultimately love Soul Food...
The six things I could never do without
1. Family
2. Inner circle of friends
3. Good food/drinks
4. Intimacy
5. Continued learning
6. *FITTina, my 2013 Honda Fit Sport.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to better myself professionally and personally...traveling around the world, "the one" who'll sweep me off my feet..., food. Lots of food, lol. and making love (not just f*****). I think that exists still. Do you?

I always think about why some guys are so obsessed with masculinity and femininity...I'm 30. It's taken me long time to be comfortable with ... So I'm effeminate (at times). SUE me!! I personally think it takes a REAL MAN to date an effeminate person... So cool points to those who aren't hung up on such a black and white spectrum. Side note: EVERYONE HAS A BIT OF BOTH WITHIN THEMSELVES!!! Quit obsessing over the labels...otherwise, you'll be single the rest of your lives!!! Ok, done reading a good chunk of the guys on here!!! Where's my Hendricks & Tonic??!!
On a typical Friday night I am
Sadly, I am home studying...every so often do I go out to eat with friends and family...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I graduated high school NOT ONCE EVER taking any Calculus, Triginometry, Chemistry, Physics, or any Art classes...
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 27–37
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends
You should message me if
You don't mind talking to a Filipino guy (I must say this because its amazing how many guys out there have such ethnic hang-ups and its a huge deal breaker for most; I'll talk to mostly anyone), you can appreciate someone in non-profit work (I work with LGBT youth), you don't mind taking conversations nice and slow but still interested in engaging (basically friends first and see what happens kinda deal), you aren't so engulfed in your own life you don't or won't make time for new people, and finally if you can create a better meal than I can and/or kick my butt in Just Dance for Wii ;) (I welcome all challengers)...

Also, could you please either message me or visit me? I'm too poor to actually pay for this app and I have no problem responding back to you if ya like me.. ;) Thanks. You're a sweet man!! Yes, I'm talking to you... ;)
