My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"I wanted only to try to live in accord with the promptings which came from my true self." -- Herman Hesse

Living my dreams. And since I really like where I am, I appreciate the road that brought me here.

I'm a student of joy, kindness, peace, and free will. Passionate and easy-going. I'm not into meanness, cruelty, drama, or judging others, and I am attracted to those of like mind.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Meeting, seeing, hearing, and facilitating beauty, having great conversations, living with compassion, and taking good care of myself. Trying to spend less time being who I think I should be and more time being who I am.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Laughing, loving, conversation, music, living simply, expressing, cooking, and ADVENTURE!!!!

And ending sentences with words in all caps, apparently.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, and that meeting me in a dark alley would only make them feel SAFER.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning, Jung's autobiography Memories, Dreams, and Reflections, Dostoevsky (Brothers Karamazov = amazing), Hesse, Camus, William Blake, Whitman, J.R.R. Tolkien, the list goes on

Movie/Video: "The Power of Myth" conversations between Joseph Campbell and Bill Moyers, The LotR movies, Being There, Harold and Maude. Much more.

Music: James Taylor is my favorite. I'm exposed to much music through my work, and I love most of it. I'm a fool for cheesy '70s love pop (a la "You Are the Woman" by Firefall), pretty much all of the music acts that play at The Cedar.

Food: I like to keep it healthy, but pretty much everything on the Original Pancake House's menu does me in. Too much to list here!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Fingers, fire, feeling, foolishness, fantasy, and FLUBBER.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the next lesson is. Traveling. Detachment vs attachment. My loved ones. Music. Making things work. Creating beauty.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends and/or working at a concert, either here or in some city far away.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Years ago I had a nightmare the Bee Gees killed my family. They chased me, but they didn't run - every turn I took, there they were, strutting confidently toward me in their Saturday Night Fever era white polyester jump suits. Then another dream years later that I was, literally and figuratively, being groomed to replace Maurice - I woke up laughing as I was being fitted for fake chest hair.

You think we would get along famously.

Yeah, we would. Go ahead. It'll be fun!

Oh, and there's this - I've seen a ghost or two in my lifetime (seriously), so even if you're not sure we will get along famously, we could swap cool ghost stories. In other words, WE WIN! :)
