Some disclaimers first. My availability is REALLY limited as is my time. I'm only interested in people who can meet and are close by. And available. I'm also picky. Not being snobbish, just don't want to waste your time.

There is more to me than meets the eye. My husband and I have a long-standing secure marriage but we are also experimental and polyamourous. We live rural but travel widely. We lead creative lives in the sense that we more often make things we need than most average people. I am not religious but I do guard my inner peace and try to maintain balance.

My life is very full and I have many obligations. Yet one of the most rewarding things is making new connections with people, sharing their interests and exchanging ideas, energy and passions. I'm not looking for a casual hookup, although I've tried that in the past. It is far more rewarding to cultivate good friendships that have a possibility of including physical intimacy.

I am enjoying my life! What else? At this point a good part of it is bound with welcome obligations. It's a woman's life! I am a bit of a hedonist but it's not about instant gratification all the time.

Books; Tao Te Ching, Arthur C. Clarke, authors like Jane Urquhart, Fay Weldon (older stuff) Margaret Atwood, Malcolm Gladwell. I love books either fiction or factual that present lots of new ideas. I do like poetry but to me that is more like music. Edna St. Vincent Milay, Adrienne Rich, Leonard Cohen.

Music; a selection of what's in my car, The Tragically Hip, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Cochrane, The Cult, Big Sugar, Wide Mouth Mason, Bach's Goldburg Variations, Mozart's Requiem, Vivaldi's Four Seasons (yes, it's overplayed), Leonard Cohen, The Stones. Barenaked Ladies, Crash Test Dummies. I guess I'm out of date. There is so much more I like. The Beatles, Ozzy, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow, Matchbox 20, Finger 11, Cake. And much more I'll happily listen to or can't remember now.

Food; Most anything well-prepared. I appreciate good ethnic food, Thai, Indian, Morrocan, Italian, Meditterranian. I love spicy food. A really good steak, pizza, just about every veggie out there. Don't actually care much for seafood but I do cook it sometimes. I try to stay organic, non-GM, minimally processed, free range etc. Sometimes we produce our own food or I buy it from someone I know

Probably spending time with my family but also possibly going for a ride with a horse and a dog, training, having a drink with someone new or maybe even something entirely different!
