My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm up for trying new things and going to new places, especially with a little egging on. I would rather have an interesting bad day than a forgetable ok one. I order fish when everyone else gets steak. I have no fear of public speaking. Probably because I'm not afraid to make an ass out of myself. I like to discuss philosophy and politics over text. I'm a nerd for loving history, a geek for playing board games, and a dork for my sense of humor. I'm easy to make laugh, hard to make cry, and harder to offend. I would consider myself an anti-anti-intellectual. I love both trees and urban density. I believe in spending money on experiences over things.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm working at a company that makes slot machines. 10 years from now, who knows, but right now I really can't complain. I live in a 64 year old house and it's a perfect fit. Although my neighbors tend to be 20 years older or younger than me. I didn't know how cool Decatur was until after I moved. I gained all of my pre-conceived notions about it from rap songs.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Putting together Ikea furniture.

I like a lot of the same movies most millennials like. Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Ferris Bueller, Office Space, Jurrasic Park. But I also have a strange obsession with bad cinema. Anything involving cheesy special effects, terrible acting, or whacked out Japanese stuff, I love it.

I, like almost everyone, have varied music tastes. It depends on my mood. Punk rock, Jazz, Bluegrass, Bossa Nova, soundtracks, electro-pop, and so forth.

Grilled cheese sandwiches and soda made with real sugar are my comfort foods.
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How the older I get the less time a year seems like. How to land that dream job that I'll work until I retire, or if it exists. Where and when the next great adventure is.

This is a trick question.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I was a super band geek in high school. I played trombone.
