My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Why, hello there! I guess this is where I tell you who or what I am, so, away we go!

I like to talk to strange strangers. I also like ignoring strangers until they are at ease with my presence and then breaking out in raucous laughter. This tends to worry people. Sometimes I like to worry people.

According to Myers Briggs, it seems that I am one of those ENFP sorta folks.

I'm kinda stubborn, except for when I'm not. Just tell me I can't do something and see what happens.

I am fascinated by, and collect, random information. Sometimes I wish I had a port in my head that would just hook directly to wikipedia, IMDB and google... then I would be UNSTOPPABLE! Unfortunately, I would prolly also end up typing like an illiterate teenager... so maybe that isn't such a good idea.

I say inappropriate things... loudly... and in public. If you are easily offended or embarrassed, please stop reading now.

I am precocious, snarky, and feisty
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Well, I do work for a living, so there's that... and I read. And play video games. And I'm kinda artsy and like to make odd things (for Christmas 2012 I made Cthulhu Claus ornaments)... oh! From all the unsolicited praise I've received, I also appear to be pretty good in the kitchen.

Really, I'm still figuring out where my next move will take me, so beyond work, it's all big question marks.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Bringing out the extrovert in people.

Acting in a manner contradictory to reason or reality.

Baking bread and generally cooking other tasty things (at least that's what my friends and employees tell me!)

Laughing at inappropriate humor. (example:

Generally being an anachronistic individual.

Back massages and head scratches.

According to some people, I'm really very good at being aggressively amiable.

...I'm also pretty good at just making them wonder.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I talk in a way that may or may not make sense. I may be slightly distracted by, ummm, anything? I like to playfully make fun of people.

When I'm not certain as to what someone has said, I generally ask questions like "Moose?"

I might be laughing at something loudly or ignoring that I'm in public, thusly saying whatever is on my mind.

Secretary, The Apartment, Super Bad, Knocked Up, Fido, Shaun of the Dead, Amelie, Donnie Darko, Gloomy Sunday, Tideland, Serenity, When Harry Met Sally, Bernie, The Big Lebowski, Dead Man, Clerks (and the rest of the Jersey Trilogy), Hackers, Clockwork Orange, Vertigo, High Anxiety, Scrooged, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Singing in the Rain, The Labyrinth, Community, Supernatural, Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, Lost Girl, some TV on DVD (Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development, Clone High Numb3rs, Animaniacs, BtVS, Angel, Black Books) and much, much, far too much more to continue listing here…

I love to cook, so I pretty much love any foods.... however, olives are made of evil and cow dairy and I have an abusive relationship.

I love music in general, so there really isn't much I won't listen to... if you want something more specific as to what's been playing in my ears lately, just ask... it tends to change from week to week, if not day to day. My parents had very eclectic musical tastes, which seem to have rubbed off.

I really like Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Doulas Adams, Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan), David Sosnowski, Christopher Moore, Kinky Friedman, Carl Hiaasen, Tom Wolfe, Ken Kesey, Kahlil Gibran, J.R.R. Tolkien, Anne McCaffrey, Robert A. Heinlein, Aldous Huxley... the list goes on and on...the answer is 42... or 5 tons of flax... depends on who's telling the story...

oh... and you mustn't forget Brave New World...great book... too many movies of it, but brilliant book...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Scraps of paper.

Writing utensils.

(and always a towel)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The world at large. How things work. People. Art and artists. Where the my base of operations should be when impending zombie uprising occurs. How to fortify said place and successfully handle our casualties with dignity... I mean, how do you decapitate someone in a dignified manner?

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Decompressing from the work day, possibly with alcohol of some sort.

Having conversations with my cat. Don't judge me, she's an awesome conversationalist.

Netflix marathon, possibly?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
While I guess I can appreciate the sentimentality of cut flowers, I really just see it as a good way to kill something beautiful.

Also, I may possibly be a bit too forthright and blunt at times.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You have no fear of someone who uses big words in cold blood. You enjoy spending time talking about decent literature or art or media or, well, anything while drinking caffeine of some sort. You're looking for new and entertaining friends. You can tell the difference between creepy and thought provoking. You appreciate snarky dark humor. You can understand the allure of grammatically correct sentences and proper spelling... and can tolerate some loose punctuation.

You keep weird hours or can handle someone who does.

You've read my profile and still think you'd enjoy talking to me. Or you know where that sock that gets eaten by the dryer goes.

Ohh... and you should also message me because I'm precocious!
