My self-summary
“I have never listened to anyone who criticized my taste in space travel, sideshows or gorillas. When this occurs, I pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room.”
― Ray Bradbury, Zen in the Art of Writing

I'm a short, geeky, half time lord, graphic designer and typographer. I am sometimes shy, yet other times quite outgoing and silly. I'm quite ADD, but most of the time I enjoy it. I am a huge movie buff and bookworm as well. I value intelligence highly, as well as a good sense of humor and an ability to laugh at oneself. Personally I consider myself a Zen Humanist.

I am a sapiophile, as well as an anglophile.

While I do have a partner, I am poly. Please feel free to message me!

I'm currently in an open relationship with a fiercely alluring geeky fellow (kbgilmore13) and we are both seeking folks to play with, have fun with, and new friends in general! I'm also hoping to find a girlfriend in the area.
What I’m doing with my life
Recently earned my second degree in graphic design, improving my knitting and crocheting skills. Exploring. Building silly things in Minecraft.

I just discovered Dragon Age Origins and have been a bit addicted to it in between applying for jobs.

I feel entirely too lucky to have found a profession I truly adore.

At the present moment I'm attempting to learn the fine art of designing typefaces. Thanks to my world cinema teacher I have recently delved into reading Wittgenstein and Russell. I love things that challenge my mind!

I recently moved to my dream city, New Orleans! I am eager to meet new friends and play partners, etc.
I’m really good at
Typography, screen printing, overanalyzing media I adore.

Owning an obscene amount of books.

Identifying typefaces and critiquing typography.

Snuggling forever!
The first things people usually notice about me
My boyish haircut, lack of height, or distinctive giant glasses.

I love swing music and am dying to learn swing dance, the hardcore kind with the flips and shit.

Food - I love cupcakes far more than I ought, mac & cheese, thai food, and indian food. I also adore delicious crusty bread with butter, or perhaps a bit of blackberry jam.

The six things I could never do without
- Tea! I love me some tea.
- Books. Bonus points if they smell wondrously old
- My glasses. I am legally blind without them, it is quite fun to exchange them with others and hear their reactions.
- Some form of interaction with people
- My hands, life would be much more difficult without them
- Cuddles and physical interaction (especially with kbgilmore13)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Typography

Life and its complexities.

Semiotics, linguistic studies, and random thought experiments such as Schrödinger's cat.

As stated before, overanalyzing favored media (e.g. Last semester where I wrote a 20+ page paper on the semiotics of Doctor Who. Best research ever!)

“I couldn't possibly have sex with someone with such a slender grasp on grammar!”
― Russell Brand

“Books are finite, sexual encounters are finite, but the desire to read and to fuck is infinite; it surpasses our own deaths, our fears, our hopes for peace.”
― Roberto Bolaño

“I still love books. Nothing a computer can do can compare to a book. You can't really put a book on the Internet. Three companies have offered to put books by me on the Net, and I said, 'If you can make something that has a nice jacket, nice paper with that nice smell, then we'll talk.' All the computer can give you is a manuscript. People don't want to read manuscripts. They want to read books. Books smell good. They look good. You can press it to your bosom. You can carry it in your pocket.”
― Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451
On a typical Friday night I am
Online or reading, it varies from week to week.

At times I shall be in my social mood and be gallivanting about with my primary, or someone else (or both). Other times I may be in my hermit mode and be holed up in a cozy place reading or otherwise.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
People watching is my favorite hobby.

Two of my insane weaknesses are intelligence and the ability to speak languages other than english fluently. Or being in the possession of an accent, so three.

I'm probably more solitary than I should be. A result of moving around a lot when I was younger and being an only child, it makes me quite self aware and self conscious. I'm making an effort to be more social.

I have a slight stutter, it mostly happens when I get nervous or excited. My brain moves faster than my mouth.
