My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am waiting in line for the ferry to Vashon Island, to spend a few days with Family, when I am hit with a sense of contentment. I am excited to get across the water and have time to meditate, read, be in nature, write, and be with people I care about.

Once I get to my Aunt's house I park my car and hike up the road with my long-board. It isn't until the wind is whipping through my facial hair that I remember that I haven't been on my board in a while and it seems a little wobbly... I make it to the bottom, my heart racing, and I smile. It feels great to be alive.

Retiring from Massage Therapy has opened up time and space in my life. I talk with my Aunt about the most recent training she attended on gender equality, consent, and working with trauma. Later I take my younger brother out for dinner and we talk about his new job.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just wrapped up my prerequisites for the UW Psychology Department and I will be applying there later this year. The ultimate goal is to work as a couples counselor as I am good at mediating and want to help people understand each other.

This summer weather is great. Given that I am financially sound not working and I have time off from school I am making the most out of my summer. This means lots of time with my friends as well as hiking, biking, ultimate, travel, and camping.

With all the usual summer activities there is also room to push myself outside of my comfort zone to try new things.

I recently saw Robyn and Royksopp at Marymoore and I have tickets to see Brian Regan, Seahawks training camp, Drake vs Lil Wayne, and I just got tickets to two Seahawks games. Really looking forward to those events.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music: I love music of all kinds and have a bit of a thing for speaker systems. I have a record player and a small collection of records. Some sounds I like are BT, Morgan Page, Kaskade, Avicii, Deadmau5, Drake, Ellie Goulding, Imogen Heap, Robyn, Gnarls Barkely, Daft Punk, Burial, Telepopmusik, Mr Probz, etc.

Food: Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines and some good sushi is always welcome. I have a harder time eating than most of my friends as I try to maximize cost and quantity of food... it takes a lot to satisfy an active tall individual!

Shows: I watch TV shows once they hit DVD or Netflix. Reaper, Luther, Day Break, Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil, Sherlock, I just started watching a super campy show called Airwolf which I enjoy, and looking forward to the next season of The Walking Dead

Movies: Pretty much down to see most films and I really enjoy sci-fi films. Here are a few I can think of that I have liked. Prometheus, Moon, Sunshine, They Live, Time Bandits, The Thing, The Town, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Ghost Town, and The Fifth Element. I am looking forward to seeing Guardians of the Galaxy, Sin City 2 (Finally!), and Foxcatcher later this year.

Books: Textbooks on psychology, Ilium, Wizards First Rule, Matched, The Hunger Games, The Positive Enneagram, How to Practice, The Five Love Languages, The House of Belonging, etc.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
That moment when I find the perfect position on my pillow and then dream about the amazing day I had pushing my body and mind.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
After finally finding a parking spot on Capitol Hill I head over to Century Ballroom to salsa dance, get confused about how to Bachata, and leave smiling.

I am attracted to women who are compassionate and know how to ask for what they want. Someone who has the tools to discuss their inner experiences as well as the ability to let loose and be silly. Can you challenge me at Mario Kart, Ultimate, or a cook off?

If this sounds like you, send me a message and let's chat.
