My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
***Update as of July 2015: I'm interested in creating relationships based on integrity, creativity, commitment, and presence. Where all parties share in an abundance of energy and have both feet planted in Seattle.***

I am waiting in line for the ferry to Vashon Island, to spend a few days with Family, when I am hit with a sense of contentment. I am excited to get across the water and have time to meditate, read, be in nature, write, and be with people I care about.

Once I get to my Aunt's house I park my car and hike up the road with my long-board. It isn't until the wind is whipping through my facial hair that I remember that I haven't been on my board in a while and it seems a little wobbly... I make it to the bottom, my heart racing, and I smile. It feels great to be alive.

Retiring from Massage Therapy has opened up time and space in my life. I talk with my Aunt about the most recent training she attended on gender equality, consent, and working with trauma. Later I take my younger brother out for dinner and we talk about his new job.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I just wrapped up my prerequisites for Psychology and recently got notice of my acceptance at the UW. I'm excited to be back in school full time this coming fall. The ultimate goal is to work as a couples counselor as I am good at mediating and want to help people understand each other.

The return of the sun is a blessing and I have been taking in the rays running around Greenlake as I've been getting more into running this year.

This past summer I had the opportunity to see Robyn and Royksopp at Marymoore, Brian Regan, the Seahawks beat the Broncos, Drake vs Lil Wayne, and Mos Def. I also saw Bo Burnham, which was excellent.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Juggling basketballs.

Music: I love music of all kinds and have a bit of a thing for speaker systems. I have a record player and a small collection of records. Some sounds I like are BT, Deadmau5, Drake, Ellie Goulding, Robyn, James Blake, Burial, Telepopmusik, and Mr Probz.

Food: Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines as well as Vietnamese and some good sushi is always welcome.

Shows: I usually watch TV shows once they hit DVD or Netflix. Reaper, Luther, Day Break, Todd & The Book Of Pure Evil, Sherlock, I'm glad that The Walking Dead is back from break.

Movies: Pretty much down to see most films and I really enjoy sci-fi films. Here are a few I can think of that I have liked. Prometheus, Moon, Sunshine, They Live, Time Bandits, The Thing, The Town, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Ghost Town, and The Fifth Element. I am looking forward to seeing some films I missed in the theater like Boyhood and The Theory Of Everything.

Books: Textbooks on psychology, Ilium, Wizards First Rule, Matched, The Hunger Games, The Positive Enneagram, How to Practice, The Five Love Languages, The House of Belonging, etc.

I am attracted to women who are compassionate and know how to ask for what they want. Someone who has the tools to discuss their inner experiences as well as the ability to let loose and be silly. Can you challenge me at a hike, Mario Kart, a debate, or a cook off?
