My self-summary
NOTE: I know as a Buffalonian a lot of my matches are in Canada. That's OK! I am more than willing to travel should the need arise :)

My name is A.J. and if you are reading this, congratulations you've managed to take the first step onto a path of amazing adventures! :D Let me start by saying this, I'm blunt; I say what I mean and I mean what I say. While this does mean I won't spare your feelings, it also means if I say something nice, I mean it. INTP if it matters to you!

I'm a application programmer and an independent game designer. You might be asking yourself what this truly entails. Well, it involves a lot of math, physics, and programming as well as the ability to work well with people. I won't lie though, I get to --and have to-- play a lot of video games. That doesn't mean I'm not an active individual. Quite the contrary, I enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle when work hasn't sucked the energy from my soul.

So given what you know you can probably derive that I am a nerdy individual. I like to make movie references and stupid jokes that few would actually get. I appreciate wit and sarcasm greatly as it is the first line of defense against the rapidly spreading epidemic of stupid. On top of all that, I play tabletop RPG's quite frequently. For those of you that don't know what I mean, good examples would be D&D, Cthulhu Tech, Exalted, Anima, etc.

I enjoy writing greatly. In my free time i will often write short stories, poems, prose, philosophy --whatever I feel bouncing around the inside of my skull at the time. I intend to write a fiction novel in the near future, and my greatest desire would be to see it published.

Goofy things amuse me: silly jokes, random costume days, late night trips to the grocery store for twelve cans of shaving cream, pranks, etc. I like to laugh when I can, the rest of my life is far too stressful to waste opportunities to smile. Thus, I am prone to participating in goofy things. Hopefully you have a tolerance for the random and silly!

If what you have gotten to this point and are still interested, send me a message, I would love to talk to you.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working full-time at a hospital to program and maintain software, and working part time to develop video games independently That is what takes up the majority of my time, but I still like to get out and do things or at the very least, chill and play some games.
I’m really good at
Some would say that I'm good at writing stories and making them interesting. Others would tell you that I'm skilled at video games. Even still others would say that I'm good at making others laugh --if we share the same brand of humor that is.
The first things people usually notice about me
I can be particularly loud, people often claim to hear me before they see me. I also talk with my hands a lot, I tend to be very animated.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books include The 5th Vial by Michael Palmer, the older Clive Cussler novels, and anything Science Fiction.

I have too many "favorite" movies to list them all, but some examples include: Saving Private Ryan, The Matrix, V for Vendetta, Silent Hill, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Shaun of the Dead, Fight Club, etc.

If I had to list my favorite shows they would be: House, Scrubs, Family Guy, Futurama, Supernaural, and Law & Order.

My music preferences are plain and simple: Rock and techno.

Food is another easy one, I like meat --steak especially.
The six things I could never do without
Writing, my family, games, music, intelligent conversation, and humor
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend a lot of my time pondering the world around me and how I may or may not influence it. Much of my time is dedicated to wondering why everyone has to be right all the time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with a group of friends, playing games and having laughs. Sometimes there will be drinking if it had been a long week for us all and we can afford the liquor.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have anxiety issues when it comes to important matters like work projects and my family.
You should message me if
If you can handle sarcasm, bluntness, random compliments, or sudden bouts of meaningless debate.
