Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Gee - isn't it curious to be this old! And still feel young inside.
I can honestly say that in this lifetime I have done what I felt to
do, followed my passions - for causes, people, places.
Cancer made me into a widow 4 years ago. It was a privilege and an
honour to be with my partner as he transitioned to the next world.
We always defined it as a "until death do us part" relationship. I
just didn't expect the death part quite so soon.
But - to quote John Lennon "Life is what happens while you are busy
making other plans."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm constantly searching for truth and absurdity. Other than that,
music is central, and I play rock n' roll, blues and a bit of jazz,
mostly in trios. I am also a songwriter, photographer, fundraiser,
and used to write fiction obsessively.
I follow my heart, and my muse. I love creative people.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Feeding myself - and others around me.
Walking, swimming, cycling, being in nature, noticing birds.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The Crying Game
Historical fiction, biographies, how to do this or that
Vegetables, especially home grown and organic
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Nature, spirit, solar panels, past life regression, the curious
trajectory of humans on Planet Earth, RVs, how to grow vegetables,
what it all means.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
playing music. Or watching other people play while dancing. Or
taking in a movie. Or even just walking my dog.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I eat in front of my computer.
I LOVE yoga. Yoga rocks.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are not in a hurry. You have an open mind, and do not belong to
an organized religion, but consider yourself spiritual. You are
okay alone, but want the challenge, mystery, enjoyment of carving
out a warm and loving relationship. And you live close to me - ie
west coast of BC, or possibly Washington.
