My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
White and nerdy looking for like-minded female.

As a person, I am intelligent with a dry sense of humour. I'm generally laid back and chilled out, though I can be somewhat shy when I first meet new people.

I'm looking to make friends with people who are intelligent and fun, who'd like to go out at the weekends for drinks, meals and to try new things. Long term, I'm looking for a relationship, but for now I'm happy to see what happens.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently on a graduate scheme working as an Engineer and studying for a Masters. I'm originally from Ashurst on the edge of the New Forest, but I moved to Bridgwater for work after finishing a Physics degree at the University of Manchester.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cooking, swimming, pub quizzes, gaming, and trying to learn the guitar.

My degree should be in Procrastinating, not Physics...

I use spreadsheets all the time at work at the moment.

I've been told I'm awesome at hugs.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My glorious beard.

Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - The Discworld Series, A Song of Ice and Fire, The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy. Currently reading The Particle at the End of the Universe (a book on the Higgs Boson).
Webcomics - My favourites are Questionable Content, XKCD, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal and Cyanide and Happiness. At a rough count, I'm up to date with about 70.

Movies - The Matrix, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Paul, Scott Pilgrim vs the World.
TV - Supernatural, Family Guy, Black Books, Big Bang Theory, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, Jonathan Creek.
Anime - One Piece, Pokemon, Claymore, Hunter X Hunter, Toriko, Shingeki no Kyojin and many more... And I usually read the manga series first.

Games - Anything from the Elder Scrolls series, Pokemon, Demon/Dark Souls, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry and Bayonetta.

Music - I mainly like Rock and Metal, though I'm now starting to drift into Classical a bit too. My 5 favourite bands are Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Apocalyptica, QOTSA, and Stone Sour.

Food - Roast Dinners, Chinese, homemade Pizza or Paella.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My first reaction was food, water, vital signs/organs and oxygen but I figured that wasn't quite what the question was looking for...

Laptop - I'm pretty much always doing something through my laptop, whether it be reading manga or webcomics, playing games or music or watching dvds.

Music - I listen to music A LOT. The only times I'm not listening to music are when I'm swimming, at work or asleep.

Meat - Delicious meaty goodness. Roast dinners are right at the top of the list.

Humour - Because life without laughter would be boring.

My Best Friends - I wouldn't be me without them.

Cider - Well this makes me sound like an alcoholic... I mean the bottle I have when I'm winding down at the end of the week.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to survive the Zombie Apocalypse.

Physics, Chemistry, Biology. Anything science based is usually a good start.

I also spend some time thinking of new things to cook aiming to widen my repertoire.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Killing Aliens, Zombies, Alien Zombies, Monsters or fighting crime.

If my housemates are around or I'm home with friends, I can normally be found with them in a pub or bar with a pint of cider in hand.
