My Self-Summary

I recently came out of a long-term relationship, and am still dealing with all the complications of entwining your life and future plans with another's for over 3 years. So at the moment I am just looking to meet new people and to get my social life back!

What I’m doing with my life

I live in Melbourne and work full time as a Librarian. I'm pretty happy with my job as it brings something new everyday, so it is hard to get bored. I would say I that I have one of the more interesting positions in public libraries, and work in one of the better library services.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I think every type of literature has its place. Sometimes I just need an easy, mindless read to get me to sleep, or want to be absorbed into the world of a novel. The authors that have suckered me into having to read each and every novel they have ever produced are Terry Brooks and Ben Elton.

If a movie is overtly girly or blokey, I'm probably not interested. Otherwise I enjoy a good action, drama or comedy. I do particularly enjoy British comedy series' too.

I am fussy about my music, most 'popular' stuff doesn't appeal to me, especially if it is over-produced. However I do enjoy 60-70's era pop, and some modern artists.

Food is delicious.

I am a private person. I can be talkative, but I only give so much away. It takes a while to get to know me, like an onion I have many layers, but hopefully won't make you cry!
