My self-summary
I'm a major sports fan especially of baseball, football, and basketball. Pretty much, I'm a sports nerd. I also play tennis, since it's the one sport I'm pretty good at. Although I did dominate European Handball in 5th grade gym, so maybe I was just born in the wrong country.

Music has always been important to me, whether I'm listening or making up my own songs (I play some piano and guitar). I like to make people laugh, and did some stand-up comedy at my school. I've found that everything seems better when you're able to find comedy in parts of your life that you wouldn't necessarily expect.

I am an open person with people that I trust, and I am always willing to listen to anyone who wants to vent or talk to me. I'm also very motivated and like to explore new and different things. I'm very sarcastic, but it all comes out of kindness and (attempted) humor.

Judging from these few paragraphs, I also enjoy parentheses (a lot).
What I’m doing with my life
I work at an insurance agency. I'm also in a standup comedy class and have taken several improv classes. It's the best! And I sing cheesy '80s and '90s karaoke songs because if I don't, who will?

I also hike sometimes...if anyone has suggestions as to where some of the best places are to do that, let me know!
I’m really good at
Making random references, usually related to pop culture.

Trivia in general, I love learning interesting/useless facts. I may not understand cold fusion, but you can bet I know every member of the 500 home run club. Priorities.

I've also been told I'm good at imitating Elmo, Kermit the Frog, Charles Barkley, and Stewie Griffin.

Listening to and helping others.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I exist. After that, probably either my blue eyes or my dimple on my left cheek. But I don't usually survey people on their first impressions of me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
BOOKS: Harry Potter (like everyone else ever), Baseball Historical Abstract, The Kite Runner, Of Mice and Men, America: The Book, Split Second, A Series of Unfortunate Events (except for the last book, the ending was very unsatisfying).

TV: It's Always Sunny, Parks and Rec, Archer, Louie, Law and Order: SVU, South Park, Psych, Happy Endings (RIP), old episodes of Family Guy and The Office, Scrubs, Friends.

MUSIC: Pretty much everything, but I'll name a few: Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Linkin Park, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jeff Buckley, Nirvana, Chris Cornell, Alice In Chains, R.E.M., Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Beach Boys, Billy Joel...NOT Meatloaf or Limp Bizkit.
The six things I could never do without
If I have my family, friends, and oxford commas, then I'm doing just fine.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who actually stole the cookie from the cookie jar?
On a typical Friday night I am
There isn't really a typical Friday night, except that I usually have pizza for dinner with my family. Then I'm with friends. I'll go to Camden Yards to watch baseball, play board games, watch a movie, go to a bar, explore Baltimore in general...it's all fun
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a silly goose.
I like a lot of the music from the Twilight movies.
Not only do I know who George Michael is, I think he's legitimately talented.
You should message me if
If you're genuine and have a sense of humor, if you have any questions about me, or have anything interesting to tell me about yourself.

If you have something to say beyond "hi".

If you play fantasy football.

If you say something that makes me laugh, it's very likely that I will respond.

If you watch Roseanne reruns.

If you alternated between Nsync and Backstreet Boys throughout your childhood.
