My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an easy going, independent and down to earth London chap looking to meet another chap for friendship that will hopefully lead to something more.

Interests wise, I try and take advantage of the opportunities that living in the capital offers in terms of cinema (old and new films), exhibitions, galleries, theatre and the odd gig. That said, as well as the cultural side of life, I'm just as happy with some good friends in a friendly local with a pint or even taking it easy at home with a book (I read a lot). When not in the pub I make an attempt to keep relatively healthy whether that be through cycling or the gym.

Other than this, I cycle pretty much everywhere and do try and get out of London when I can and discover other parts of the country. Further a field is good too and I do my best to get away at least a couple of times a year.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Financial journalist working for a trade service.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I find it's probably safer not to ask.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I read a lot and my flat is starting to overflow with books. Desert Island favourites would include Nostromo, Middlemarch, Lolita, Vanity Fair and anything by Hardy.

Film and cinema is also a big love of mine and favourites include, Night of the Hunter, Vertigo, 2001, Aguirre and the Lady Killers (I could go on and on).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
It was John Huston who said in Chinatown that most people never have to face the fact that at the right time, the right place, they're capable of anything. But notwithstanding that nugget I'll go for: Friends, films, books, beer, London and holidays.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Somewhere with a drink in my hand hopefully.
