So we just had a lunar eclipse, and I made a vow to myself to be, as they use to say in the Real World..back when we knew there was nothing real about it...Get Real!!!

Seriously, I've spend more than half of my life selling ideas and causes to a wide group of people and organizations. I'm a master spin doctor! I find it hard to sell myself. Be my own pimp. "She has a few years on her, but can give an excellent hummer." It's so much easier when you can get face to face with someone. Then they can get the full effect, up close...the full IMAX effect!

I have one of two effects on people:
1) I am as grounded and centered as the Dali Lama.
2) I am intense and overwhelming as Hurricane Katrina.
I know it's a wide spectrum, but it really depends on the company I'm in and what might be going on in the background. Exciting huh?

I love a good debate and while I will always respect my opponent's opinion, it helps if you can present yourself with some symbolize of intelligence. Stupidity is not necessarily hazardous, but stupidity mixed with arrogance is like waving a red flag in front of a bull with me.

Taking note of my last few relationships, all were extremely intelligent as they were able to think for themselves, digest information and come to rational conclusions. Several had no college in their background. I have found intelligence is something you were either born with or not...college will not really help if it isn't already there.

I guess I'm "harping" on the intelligence characteristic as the few guys I have met on this site were "sweet" in their own way, but kinda like biting into a pop tart with the fold still on...a bit missing in texture and taste. Plus, let's face it intelligent, well read men are sexy as hell!!! They understand about the concept of foreplay and the reality of the female orgasm. It really does exist guys!!! A side note: so does the male multi-orgasm. Trust me I know this...

Oh yes, I'm a totally romantic, and I define that as writing poems or songs for my lover. This does not mean stalking a past lover and/or not knowing when it's time to say "goodnight Lois." By the way my name is not Lois...!

I would have to say I'm more into friendship right now instead of searching for my soul mate. I'm working on getting my self in order, and let's be real, how many lovely Liam Neeson/Daniel Craig look alikes are there on line who look grand in a kilt?!!!

I've recently left corporate America and am in the process of starting up my own business of healing bodywork, counseling and spiritual healing. I'm rediscovering my artistic gifts which includes working on a novel; I just got published for the first, and not last time, and gearing up for a performance early next year.

I'm really good at getting people to relax. I work with individuals who have suffered intense trauma. I have people open up to me about intimate details of their life at bus stops and coffee shops. I guess I don't believe in strangers as much as people I haven't yet met in this life.

My energy, my eyes, and how they feel they can trust me.

Right now my favorite authors are: Stieg Larsson, James Patterson, J.A. Jance, and Faye Kellerman. I've have consumed everything by Octavia Butler and enjoy Rita Mae Brown mysteries. I just discovered Christopher Moore who is definitely a hoot! My favorite movie of all time is a toss between: The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover and An Affair to Remember. I really love BBS shows especially the comedies: Are You Being Served, As Time Goes By, and of course Monty Python! Recently just got into their mysteries: Wake the Dead, Being Human, Life on Mars (much better than the American version) and State of Play (again much better than the American remake). I adore 80's music. Reminds me of my days hanging out on Broadway at the Fab Mab, Chi Chi club, and The Stone. Ah, and Days on the Green concerts in Oakland. Five top bands for under $20.00! Best concert I ever saw, The Clash open for The Who's first farewell concert! The Clash best band every!!! And yes my taste can also include ABBA as mentioned earlier, Meatloaf, NIN, Erasure, and Green Day. Oh, and I love me some Nina Simone, in fact I can belt out a few of her tunes. And one of the best things about living in the Bay Area is the Food. My favorite restaurants are Boulevard, Farmer Browns, and this great Ethiopian restaurant up Telegraph near in Berkley. Adore sushi (it might be hard to come by now) and just about all types of foods.
