My self-summary
You want to know about me? I'm flattered! At the moment I am a masters student at the nations best University (LSU). Geaux Tigers! When I am not nose down in books, articles, and research I like to spend time with my friends. What does spending time entail you ask? Well it usually involves bourbon, scotch, and beer. But it may be as simple as feeding the fish (going fishing), or watching a few movies. I like drinking wine and playing Cranium with friends to see who becomes stupid first. I am also looking for a good swing dance or jitterbug partner and, possibly more importantly, a place with music conducive to either activity. I am always looking to add to my small collection of beat up antiques to restore or appreciate for their own unique and aesthetic ugliness (known as the "worn" or "stressed" look by those who think it is some sort of cool new fad). I love whipping out my camera for a sunset or anything else that strikes me as beautiful (beautiful can be defined as lonely live oaks in fields of yellow flowers or animal skulls haphazardly strapped to fence posts or random people doing what they always do). My new hobby is remodeling my house and looking for a roommate. Know of anyone who won't go schitzo on me, can pay bills on time, and doesn't have a cat they can't part with or a dog that can be outside? Lemme know if you do, because as I mentioned, I am looking. Speaking of looking, I am also looking for someone who likes jazz and blues and has no reservations about spending an evening listening to one or the other or both while drinking some sort of intoxicating substance. Next random thought in 10 seconds, stand by.....

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. I'm all over the place. I believe that there is no topic that is unworthy of thought and investigation if for no reason than the pursuit of knowledge. Maybe that's why I cant get a thesis topic nailed down. It's all so damned interesting!
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting in my office counting the minutes or working on some school related project or I may be sitting at Chelsea's drinking beer, burbon, or scotch during happy hour and into the early night. I've been looking to Fox and Hound a bit lately at night again since Marazzil's closed. Sometimes I just go home and watch a movie or three or sit on my porch and listen to some music and sip scotch. It really depends on my mood.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am not very private. Just ask if you want to know. Oh wait, I know. I like to listen to Liz Phair on occasion. Does that make me metrosexual? I hope not.
